The Kyomachiya "Fang-no Door" is located in Naka-jimachi, the site of the "Daiji Temple" of Heiankyo.A thousand years ago, the Emperor sits on top of the Takodo Yasuza of the Greator's Palace to meet the imperial servants and foreign envoys.Nowadays, the only ruins of Daji Temple have evolved into commercial and residential areas. There is a bus stop 1min walk from the house and there is a JR/subway station 10min walk with easy access to all the attractions in Kyoto city.
