Our house is located in the countryside of Tabor, SD. The room is nice and spacious with a comfy bed. If need be we could set up a cot as well for a small child. Keep in mind we live in the country so to access our house you will need to drive a few miles on a gravel road!. There is access to a lake area about 3 miles away for boating, picnicking, and swimming! If traveling here in winter months, all wheel drive car is highly recommended!
“Casey is an excellent host. Very attentive and responds quickly to messages. We enjoyed all of the amenities, she even provided breakfast. Her two dogs are sweet and friendly. The room is very clean and spacious. She also provided a variety of toiletries. I would definitely stay here again. She travels often, so ensure you ask for travel recommendations. She gave us directions for a scenic drive that went directly through Badlands on our way to Yellowstone. Things to note: The nearest town is 20-25 minutes away, which was not an issue for us. Make sure you follow the directions she provides, cannot use GPS navigation. Thanks again for such an amazing stay and your wonderful hospitality.”

This lovely older farmhouse has been refinished to enhance its naturally beauty! Charming 2-story farmhouse with original hardwood floors, front porch, full kitchen, and beautiful scenery!
“Kathleen's farmhouse is, in a word, astonishing. I didn't use the upstairs but there's 3 nicely appointed bedrooms up there. The rest of the house affords extremely easy and comfortable living and there's not much you'd want for as Kathleen has seen to it that most visitor's needs are already provided for. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen is a real cook's kitchen, the dining room is legit, the living room is welcoming. Plenty of extras - extra blankets, extra towels, etc. The heat works great, it's a super-cozy home and the only thing you will dislike about your experience here is when you have to depart. It was a little tricky for me to find in the dark but Kathleen walked me through finding it over the phone so even that worked out great. Oh and it's on a road but set back enough so that you really don't hear it much at all. I heard spring peepers which is always a joy. I'd gladly have spent the entire pandemic there! In fact I may well come back in better times, just because I fell in love with the location and the home.”
