In the winter of Nikko, where our place is located, it gets cold because it snows.The building is an old Japanese house, so there are air conditioners and heaters in each room, but there are also places that are difficult to warm up, such as hallways and stairs.Please make sure to stay warm.

This is a private rental accommodation in a renovated 100-year-old traditional house located by the sea and at the foot of the mountains in Nanaura, Echigo. This is the Mase coast in Nishikan-ku, Niigata City (formerly Iwamuro Village) 25 minutes by car from Makari Interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway and 35 minutes from Sanjo-Tsubame Interchange.The horizon of Echigo Nanaura stretches out below. A morning walk on a deserted beach. A hiking trail that feels like you're in the world of Studio Ghibli. Nearby, there is a cafe in the mountains away from the crowds, and There is also an Italian restaurant where you can watch the sunset over the sea. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. You can freely use the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery, and the forest where the stream flows.In the forest that we have been maintaining, you can see small birds, squirrels, and raccoons, and you can enjoy strolling around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We also paid close attention to the interior design and kitchen utensils to make sure you can enjoy 'living'. At the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy a BBQ or campfire without worrying about the weather. It is ideal as a base for hiking, fishing, paddleboarding and golf in the green season, and as a base for winter sports in the snow season.
