This unique 1-bedroom upper apartment is part of a four-unit apartment building. The upper level has two Airbnb apartments. The Door Room is located in the heart of historic downtown Sturgeon Bay and within walking distance of all the action! It was creatively decorated with "subtle" school-themed touches that just may remind you of a dorm room (minus the ramen and bunk beds!) The Door Room is located on a quiet street in an older neighborhood. You also have your own private deck.

The place is better in person than the pictures, and the view is breathtaking. The boardwalk is right across the street, which is super helpful for taking furry friends on a walk. Everything we needed was there, and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place.

We went to Green Bay for a game, we are from Los Angeles, Ca. When I tell you Daniel’s place is perfect for a peaceful stay, believe it! It was perfectly cozy. Right by the lake and the property has a nice little patio park-ish set up so you can bbq and enjoy the view! My group of 5 loved it. 10 stars for Daniel and his cozy set up !

Lovely, pristine and beautiful cottage with an excellent view of Lake Michigan. Megan and Dave were very quick to respond when the WiFi wasn’t working on the first night. Just needed to reset the router, no big deal. They provided bottled water in the fridge for us which was a nice touch as well as some microwave popcorn. Shower had great water pressure! Would definitely recommend this cottage for anyone planning a trip to the Door County area. Felt like home away from home!

Our stay at the Dockside Retreat was absolutely fantastic! The home offered a peaceful stay, with plenty of options for adults and children. We loved the quiet canal and kayaks, neighborhood family walks and cannot say enough about the pool, hot tub and fire pit areas! There was plenty of room for our family to spread out, while enjoying time together in the open floor plan of the main living spaces. Beautifully decorated and clean throughout, with many thoughtful touches. Jenny and Jeff were quick to respond with questions we had, and went above and beyond for all of our time—thank you again!!
