Alia's place is quiet and cozy but close to everything we needed! Alia was very helpful qith local recommendations and responsive when i beeded something. She was specifically helpful when we needed something that was missing from the house. She had it right over within 10 minute which I really appreciated! Great host!

We felt so fortunate that our previous booking fell through when we arrived in Lafayette and Paz was so kind to accept our request and organize her cleaners right away to prepare the place for us. We felt right at home with the comfortable furnishings, eclectic decor, well stocked kitchen, and patio spaces. One of our (adult) daughters said that we may have lost a pool (the previous booking) but we gained a treehouse (which is really more our style). Paz and her son Eli were quick to respond to our requests, and we couldn’t have been more happy with our stay.

I stayed at Sandra's place in Breaux Bridge for the four day Cycle Zydeco bike tour. It was about a half mile from the event location at St. Bernard's school, easy to find and walkable on sidewalks. The house is a one-story three bedroom with two baths, a full kitchen, dining room, and living room. The air conditioning worked well and was essential after 40 mile days on the bike in 85 degree heat. I rented thinking I'd be there with two other guys, but ended up being solo after my fellow cyclists cancelled. This was really an ideal location for Zydeco, far enough from the center of town to avoid noise from the event, close enough to walk or ride to and from within ten minutes (walking) or five minutes (on the bike). I hope to do Cycle Zydeco again next year, this time with a few other folks, and will certainly plan to rent this place again.

Wonderful unit with a great vibe. Stayed a few nights with our daughter for her orientation at UL and we were close to everything. The house is right by a busy road and an active train track, but April provided ear plugs and noise machines that would certainly help with light sleepers. We didn’t use either and we were able to sleep just fine. The bathroom sink is the tiniest I’ve ever seen but it worked perfectly to wash our hands and brush our teeth! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Kristen was very communicative and proactive. House was elder though well maintained and comfortabe. Well provisioned, esp for entertainment. Along with the pinball/foosball/pacman numerous board games provided. Found the pouch swings enjoyable.

Beautiful home and very clean! The air smelled clean but not overpowering with synthetic fragrances. The hosts Jay and Tessy were very sweet and communication was easy easy. Our family of 8 had more than enough room to spread out without feeling crowded. the master bedroom was huge and omg the bathroom was just as big. Just perfect! We were really happy with our stay and this home was the most peaceful part of our trip so far!

Talli was an amazing host! She went above and beyond to accommodate my family and I. She was very responsive and her cottage was a joy to stay in

Me and the family had a good trip we loved the pool and was happily surprised that they had a hot tub and other amenities that was not advertised.

House is very clean and much larger than the pictures shown. We would defianly stay here again.

The Cajun Getaway is southern comfort at its finest. It was like home away from home for us. We love everything about it and it’s on our list of places to revisit. Centrally located to all the best places to visit and dine in SW Louisiana. The hosts made us feel very welcome and were respectful of our privacy. 10 out of 10.

Peaceful house and neighborhood. Could use more information on what was useable in the cupboards/freezer if anything. Pool was perfect since it was so hot out! Tv in the communal spaces didn’t have the promised access but it was okay since we were out so much. Overall it was a great experience with a wonderful and responsive hostess. Would recommend this location to anyone wanting some peace and privacy.

Traveled to Louisiana for a week of work there. Brought my family along so they could vacation while I was working. If you are looking for a beautiful peaceful space, inside and out, this is the home for you. Carlos gave great instructions on check-in and check-out. He was flexible on both as we came in very late the first day and checked out a little later than planned. House is very family friendly and we felt right at home. Lots of wildlife to watch and the river is just a short walk from the back porch. Close to both Lafayette (about 10 miles) and Baton Rogue (about 25 miles). When I need to go back we will definitely book this home. The master suite has a bathroom just like the Kennedy's (IYKYK.....Southpark). Love this place!

This house was the perfect spot for our anniversary getaway. The location is peaceful and beautiful. It is centrally located to many fantastic Cajun restaurants, which is one of the main reasons we like to visit this area. The Happy Hive was BEE-utiful. It was so nice to just chill and relax after being busy little Bee's for our families wedding in town. The sourdough bread was hands down delightful. Thank you Jennifer for sharing your adorable home, you made us feel so at home.

Loved loved loved this place! Montine was there when I arrived and could not have been more welcoming to me and especially my dog! Unlike many places, everything worked perfectly and was in great condition. I told my wife I will not come back to visit with her relatives unless we can stay here. Finally, it was cleaner than a Buc ees bathroom!! Those who know, know!

We absolutely love staying here for our trip in Lafayette! It was the cutest and coziest place and very well decorated! We loved all the recommendations from the hosts and that there was so much to do within walking distance, we will definitely be staying here again!

The property was exactly as described. It was very private, clean, spacious and on a really nice piece of property. It was peaceful yet not too far off the beaten path. Gus was a great online host whose communication was clear, prompt and spot on. The value of the fees and charges were in line with expectations and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience.
