Beach house holiday rentals in New Haven

My husband and I had a family filled weekend for our wedding followed by a mini-moon. We enjoyed every minute of it and we will definitely be booking again!

Adorable place - super clean and comfy. Fully stocked with lots of towels and blankets. Would definitely come back. Great location walkable to the state beach.

Victor and Kim were gracious and amazing hosts. I was celebrating my birthday and they even had a card, a bottle of champagne, red wine and fruit. It was such a wonderful surprise! The house was so beautiful and the beach is just outside! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything one would need to cook for a family; there was a convection oven! We loved using the grill as it was memorial day. Bathrooms had rain showers. Beds were so comfortable and it was truly wonderful to wake up to a beautiful sunrise and to just listen to the waves from the deck or even the living room. We spent a lot of time outside, on the beach. It was home away from home.

We stayed at Adam’s beach house in West Haven, CT with our extended family to celebrate our daughter’s college graduation! The 5 bedroom house was even more beautiful than the pictures! And the ocean view- was absolutely stunning! Every bedroom was perfect and the bathrooms have every amenity imaginable! We arrived on Friday, celebrated the graduation on Saturday, and enjoyed the beach on Mother’s Day! We checked out on Monday. Adam is a super host- very welcoming, generous with check in and check out times, and responsive to any questions! Thank you, Adam, we really enjoyed our family time at your beach house!

Home right on top of a sea wall with stairs to the sandy beach at low tide. Great to have coffee in AM while watching the ocean from the enclosed porch. The airport is very close though we never heard planes in the home. Hosts were very responsive and helpful when booking and for checkin.

The house was perfect and what we expected for a quick couples getaway. Steps from the beach. good local restaurants. Close enough to concert venues without having to stay in Bridgeport.

Mougeh's place is a lovely home with ample space, toys, books, games for entire family, within walking distance to the beach, and four mile drive to all shopping needs. The reason for the three star rating given in the "clean house" question was because when we arrived we noticed dog hair in the living area. We contacted the host and immediately the next day the cleaning service arrived and cleaned it. We were refunded the cleaning fee. Mougeh is very caring and responsive to her guests's needs.

we rented La Spiaggia in December, and while it's mostly going to be more beautiful and better in the summer (since it's a beach house) it was still perfectly fine in the winter; well insulated and with good strong heaters. speaking of the beach I can't stress enough of how close this place is to the water; I'm talking literally ten steps to the sand. I would certainly recommend the place as a great summer getaway!

We had a lovely stay at Karine’s cute house! The kitchen was very nicely outfitted, beds were super comfortable, and the big wood-burning fireplace was excellent! We appreciated all the cool artwork around the house, and Karine’s wonderful photography book! We got to enjoy lots of bird life, and we were lucky to have a bit of snow. What a beautiful and peaceful spot. We can’t wait to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the pool and lovely big deck and yard!

Staying at Amy's place was perfect for my friends and I while we're out on the North Fork for a wedding. Amy was very responsive with any questions we had. We were all very comfortable in the main living area as well as our bedrooms. The house was conveniently located to the wedding venue and my friends were also very happy that it was located near some pickleball courts. Thank you Amy for a wonderful stay.

We loved staying at this home - it was the perfect place for our group of ten. The outdoor space was definitely the highlight, with the pool & spa being our favorite part of the trip. The only thing to note is that we weren’t supplied quite enough toilet paper or paper towels, though I did not reach out for more - It was the last evening when we ran out and we were leaving early the next morning. The trash requirements were a surprise after booking, but going to the transfer station was easy enough, and it is listed on the house rules. Overall, an excellent stay and would absolutely return!

An amazing stay overall. It was comfortable for 6 adults. Spencer was extremely helpful throughout our stay — I had lots of questions and Spencer was quickly responsive. The house itself is beautiful and has that eastern Long Island charm. The backyard had lots of space and is well maintained alongside the pool. We also enjoyed a sunset evening at the beach which is just a few steps away. It was a wonderful weekend and I am certainly looking forward to staying here in the future!

This was the perfect getaway from the city and Maher was so helpful along the way! We had the best time in Southhold and also Greenport with his recommendations and will definitely be back again. The house is also the perfect little retreat for relaxing and unwinding. We felt right at home every night watching tv and we can’t recommend staying here enough.

We had a group of 8 adults and 7 kids (5 and under) and the space was great for a large group! There was plenty of room for the kids to run around downstairs and the large yard was fantastic. We were there in the winter so couldn’t take advantage of the pool but we did make a trip to the local beach (5 min drive) and use the fire pit. I definitely recommend Gregory’s place for both larger groups and families! We would love to return!

Allana was very easy to work with. Always answered back quickly no matter the time. Open concept and everyone was able to be together. It was a rainy stay so had to be inside. No one minded. Nicely set up for games or conversations. Thank you so much!!

We had such a great stay at Juliette’s place. We were there for my moms 60th birthday. Everything was as expected and house was fully stocked with everything we needed. Stores was only about 10-15 min away and private beach was a beautiful 5-10 min walk. Definitely will be back. Oh I should also add all the beds are super comfortable and amazing to sleep in, which is very important to us. We usually ask for extra pillows but that was not a necessity.

A quick weekend girls trip. We enjoyed the outside space, porch, corn hole and view. Beds and couch were comfy. Would stay again!

We had a great stay. The house was warm and inviting. Very peaceful and quiet. Plenty of room for the family. Very easy to get to and very close to downtown. I would highly recommend!!! Steve was very friendly and responsive to all our needs!

Mike and Danielle were gracious hosts. I encountered an issue with my stay that they took care of with no issue and were very communicative throughout the entire process. Additionally, they’re amazingly accommodating.

Amazing house that could not be any closer to the beach. Super well thought out house with very nice appliances and finishes. Kids and parents alike had a great time and will look forward to visiting again. A real gem!

Stayed here when I came back to visit my hometown-was a peaceful and beautiful New England cottage! The place had everything needed and was very clean! Would love to stay again in the summer time!

What an amazing stay! The host was incredibly welcoming and made everything seamless from start to finish. The property itself is a hidden gem — the backyard is spectacular with a cozy firepit, plenty of space to relax, and even paddle boards available for use. It truly felt like a little escape, not your typical Connecticut vibe at all! Just 2 minutes from downtown Milford, STEPS from the sand, the location was perfect — close to everything but peaceful and private. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great little getaway!

We had a great stay here on our recent family trip. Ryan was a great host and very responsive. The house was well stocked. We are looking forward to our future trips!

Sophia and Gus were great hosts. We had an issue with one of the AC units when we first got there and they immediately came over and fixed the problem. Sophia was very responsive to any questions we had and gave some great recommendations. The house was a very short 2 minute walk to the beach and there are no buildings between the house and the beach. Like most of the beaches around there they have small rocks which is fine. Sophia has beach chairs and an umbrella. As you can see in the pictures the bedrooms are a bit small but the beds are very comfortable. There is very limited cell service but there is wi- fi in the house so as long you are in the house calls are not a problem. Overall the house was a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it. Sophia and Gus are wonderful hosts
