The Appleton Retreat is situated on 120 acres of privately owned land. To the south, a short walk from Summer Rose, is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area where you can view wildlife or kayak; and to the north, a wooded trail leads to a secluded pond on 1,300 acres of Nature Conservancy protected land.

Modern amenities such as fireplace, private hot tub, fire pit, gas BBQ and access to our pool (June-Sept), pond, gym and tennis court.

The tidal beach & the floating dock (May-Dec) is ideal for seasonal fishing, lounging & swimming.

Our property in Vermont is a slice of heaven: Set between Burlington & Stowe, 10 minutes off the main highway I-89, with quick access to the main spots in Vermont, but tucked down a dirt road with nothing but the sounds of the stream. On our property we built The Tuckaway Suite, an entirely private guest suite above our garage. Wren Cabin + Wood fired Sauna

We built the Wren Cabin to be a serene space filled with light and art and with lots of cozy details. Lofted ceilings, a spiral staircase and large open concept with lofted bedroom. The cabin also has a gorgeous wood-fired sauna for those colder days. Wren cabin has a large wraparound deck for relaxing and an outdoor fire pit, as well as shared access to Adams Pond. The space is modern Scandinavian, light and aery, and filled with thoughtful details.
