Villa holiday rentals in Negombo Lagoon

This was the last place we stayed at as we were leaving Sri Lanka. The host and caretaker were helpful and responsive. The house was clean and had most of the things. We didn’t get much time to go around and see. The caretaker was around 24/7, we ordered food at home and the delivery guys could find the place easily. We packed and were set to leave the next day.

Our family of 8 had the most incredible time staying at Upul's beautiful beach house in Negombo. The property is stunning, located just a few meters away from the beach, offering breathtaking views and easy access to the shore. It’s hard to believe such a gem is so unbelievably affordable! The house itself is spacious, well-maintained, and perfect for a family getaway. A special mention to the caretaker—she is one of the sweetest and most hospitable people we've ever met. The meals she prepared were absolutely delicious and added so much warmth to our experience. Upul, the host, was incredibly accommodating and ensured everything was perfect for our stay. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made the experience even better. Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations and left us with cherished memories. If you're looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and affordable beachside retreat, look no further. Thank you, Upul, for making our family vacation so special!

The hostess and her husband were very nice.

We were a family of 9 (6 adults and 3 kids) staying overnight at Chandana's place before heading out to Bentota next day noon. We arrived around 9:45 PM tired and weary, but were welcomed by the warm home of Padmi and Chandana. They had cooked some amazing hot dinner for us which we wolfed down. Their house is very contemporary and comfortable, and we all slept well. The rooms and the house is very clean with all the necessary amenities - whether you are renting the whole house or individual rooms. It is also in a quiet neighborhood and we woke up to the sounds of birds chirping. Definitely a place we will consider when we visit Colombo next.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Isur’s place. The host, who speaks English, is very friendly and welcoming. We were served with very good traditional breakfast.The place itself is very spacious, clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can definitely recommend! Especially for those coming from Colombo airport, since the place is conveniently close.

A nature haven near and far enough from Colombo We wanted a couple of days away from the bustle of the city. Located just 30 minutes from the city centre this place was an ideal getaway. Our family of 4 (2 little kids) enjoyed the quiet surrounds of nature. The house is nestled in greenery that meets the eye from every room. The minimalist modern furnishings and fixtures let us truly relax, exactly what we wanted to do without any agenda. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen. A pizza dinner was had on the main road. Lots of amenities, restaurants and fast food chains, even the mega store Arpico meant we didn’t have to worry about food and drink. And yet this place is so tucked in nature that we could hear birds and all manner of nature in the early morning hours. This place struck me as a great place to host a few couples and families for a weekend of relaxation. Also positioned well to jump on the motorway southwards etc. Highly recommend for one and all!

Wow. Very spacious apartment with beautiful garden where you can do yoga in the morning. Very nice and modern equipped. You can see the owner playing with every detail. The place was better than we expected. We greatly appreciated the fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances - you'll find everything you need to live here. The only thing that doesn't work here is the Dialog signal and the wifi could be faster. But even though we both work online, we didn't mind. We'd love to come back. :)

We had an amazing stay. The views surrounding the house and the interiors of the house were absolutely stunning. Every part of the house was so thoughtfully designed and decorated. The best part of the stay was the delicious vegetarian food which we throughly enjoyed. Sam, Sandun and team were extremely hospitable, warm and helpful. We look forward to staying at the BNB again very soon :)

mr. Duminda is a super good person and has organized his villa perfectly

We arrived the airport at night, this house comforted us after a 20min driveway. Although it is so dark around that we could see nothing(it is a villa in a big and green garden), we surprised by the warm house very soon. We are 2couples, we have 2 rooms with individual bathroom and a shared yard. The beds and bathrooms are big and clean, hot water was provided only in one room but the cool water was also warm enough. There are nature calls of little bugs and birds. This villa offered us a comfortable rest after long flight, and a good start of the journey.Thank you!

This place is absolutely incredible, and the pictures do not do it justice. The private pool was incredible, seeing the bat migration was worth staying in for. The service was top notch, and they anticipated our every need. The bathrooms are luxurious. You will find a few surprises that will blow you away, in a positive way. We don't want to ruin for you. Enjoy!

I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Bliss! The host and caretaker were incredibly friendly and responsive, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The space itself was spacious, clean, and felt very private perfect for a relaxing getaway. I also appreciated how safe and secure the area felt. Overall, it was a great stay and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

Have lost count of the number of times we have stayed at Solar Crab. If you are looking for a gorgeous property that is peaceful and serene and with an awesome chef and comforts, this is the location for you! Cannot recommend the property any higher!

Felt at home as we came. The caretaker and his wife was very kind and helpful. We have been in this villa before so we had a great experience last time as well hence we decided to come again with our parents. Place is very spacious with a lovely view of the pool, some greenery and the beach. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to go on a small vacay not too far from Colombo and enjoy with family and friends.

The Villa is stunning, even more beautiful than the pictures! The outlook from poolside was beautiful, we watched the monkeys playing in the trees while enjoying a lovely breakfast and throughout the day were visited by peacocks, iguanas and many different birdlife. What made this holiday an amazing experience was the excellent services of Chadima. Chadima is highly intuitive of what level of attention you prefer and always highly respectful of privacy and would always check before coming in the kitchen. Chadima prepared breakfast every day, asking for our preferences the night before. We also enjoyed some dinners and a lunch prepared by Chadima which were all excellent. Chadima is super proud of using the highest quality ingredients and would be at the fish markets in the early hours of the morning to get the catch of the day if fish was our choice for dinner. We also enjoyed a great fun cookery lesson with Chadima. Excellent & professional hospitality service - highly recommend.

Beautiful, stylish new house. The owner arranged excellent airport pick-up and his family showed me around the house upon my arrival. The family live next door and were gracious and helpful hosts.

Kenji & Nisha was a very helpful and responsive host. Everyone who stayed in their place loved the place. Definitely worth the money. Their in house staffs are very helpful and respectful. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone. Worth it!
