Quiet lodge next to national park

Migogo Gorilla Lodge is a small, community-run eco lodge on a quiet hill in Rubuguli, right next to a gorilla trekking starting point. The lodge overlooks the Impenetrable Forest and the surrounding mountains. With a bit of luck, mountain gorillas or other monkeys can be seen from the lodge. The private lodges have their own bathroom and veranda. Breakfast is included, other meals are optional.

Three children are seated on a concrete floor. A plate of food, containing rice and a portion of yellow starch, is placed in front of them. The surroundings indicate a simple living environment.
