Welcome to Casa do Sapateiro! This green retreat is located in a small village at the foot of Serra dos Candeeiros, an hour's drive from Lisbon. It invites you to enjoy the surrounding calm, cool off in the pool, read a book in the patio room amidst the plants, or have a glass of wine in front of the large fireplace. Being an old house integrated into the village, it was renovated in 2007 and since then enriched by the affection of my parents who made it a true green oasis overlooking the mountains.

Nested on top of a forested hill, the windmill location allows you to enjoy the adjacent trails and bathe in nature and also explore some of the best Silver coast beaches, only a few min away. Explore Nazaré, a quaint fisherman's town, known for the biggest waves in the world, the picturesque port town of Sao Martinho and the medieval village of Óbidos, all only a few minutes away.

It is very close to the bus stop and public transportation. You'll love my place because it's located in a quiet area but close to everything you need for a good vacation. My space is ideal for a couple, a couple with a child, or a single person.
