This was our second time staying here. If you’re looking for a remote, rustic, peaceful stay - this is your place. But be prepared for a lot of mosquitoes. There were so many in fact that we couldn’t explore the property but the screened in porch with the wood stove was the highlight of our trip. We’ll book again. Mostly to say hello to the resident bunny who kept hanging around. We named him Roger in case you see him. Say hello from us.

Great little spot to stay overnight. The backyard had a nice forest to walk in, however not too much around the area to do. The pictures were accurate, but don’t display how nicely they’ve renovated. It was small but great use of the space they had. Created a nice and cozy vibe. Only suggestion would be to add in a kettle, otherwise everything was lovely. The washroom was close, easy to locate, and had a great tub!

STAY HERE!!!! <3 Eleng and her husband own and live in the upstairs of this split level home. the entire downstairs is converted for airbnb, and it is SO clean, comfortable, cozy, welcoming. The bathroom is SPOTLESS and very nice to use, well-supplied. Eleng is a talented chef who also runs a local food stand - and willing to make food for guests at reasonable prices! Hot homemade food right on site, made to order! Are you kidding me, that's amazing!! Also they will give you a ride into town for $20 CAD. So, these are great extra services (my car is in the shop). It's not the cheapest place on airbnb but don't be fooled—this one is MORE than worth the asking price! I have stayed several nights in the area. Eleng was the best deal HANDS DOWN. Complimentary tea/kettle, water bottles in the room, very nice hotel-quality towels nicely folded and clean in the room, she provided a real living plant, a space heater in case of cold night, they are just so very friendly!!! A+
