Family-friendly holiday rentals in Naseby

We had a lovely stay whilst doing part of the Alps to Ocean bike ride. Really cosy place. The hot tub was the perfect temperature. The apple cake if you opt for dinner was brilliant. The only heads up I'd give other guests is that if you're over 5' 9 you might be ducking slightly in part of the bus, and there's no electricity inside. Neither was a problem for us though.

Awesome place make sure you get there before 7 as muddy creek pizzas finish then. Great location, great fire, great spa pool, beds awesome comfortable. Also separate room for snorers what more could 4 cycling Elvis like. Alien dvd was awesome as well!!

We had a great stay at this wonderful spot! My wife, 11-month old, and I stayed for 4 nights. Cozy, clean, peaceful. Randall and Amanda were welcoming and extremely helpful. Loved the fresh bread, eggs, & jam and the apples and almonds straight off the trees! We were happy to support and experience this sustainable, off-grid farm. Would definitely stay again if we end up back in the area. =)

Amazing cottage, the absolute best way to experience Central Otago.

We found Steve an incredibly kind and helpful host! He was always responsive when we needed help and the place was exactly what we needed it to be for a gorgeous weekend away for a wedding!

We really enjoyed staying in Keri and Julie’s place and we ended up staying an extra night so that we had more time to explore around the Maniatoto. Naseby is a lovely wee place and Keri and Julie’s accommodation is spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Communication was quick and helpful. We thoroughly recommend.

Amanda was very nice to welcome us to her place. She gave a really details instruction. You will have everything you need, and especially you have mount views. The restaurant, supermarkets are nearby. The best and special thing is that there is a Sauna. We enjoyed it a lot!

Had a great time, right on the Otago rail trail bike track, a few kms ride from town. Place was clean and tidy.

A lovely quirky cottage full of character and charm. Perfect location with great eating places nearby. Large garden with comfortable seating areas overlooking the wonderful scenery.

This is a lovely place just outside Middlemarch. We stayed during our rail trail ride and it was a lovely place to relax and rejuvenate. The kids loved the board games and roasting marshmallows on the fire. Anna was a wonderful host, accommodating us last minute. Highly recommended.

We felt right at home the instant we walked in. Very accommodating to our extra needs. Linen was very clean. House was perfect and the surroundings were magical. We will 100% be back. Thanks for having us.

Immediately feel at home in this fascinating little cottage, built out of natural materials and decorated with art & creations that give it a unique and cosy feel. Our host left us a special little welcoming gift of fresh baked bread which we absolutely loved, while enjoying the delightful evening watching the cows in the field. The pub was friendly and the store was very interesting. Definitely a memorable experience, highly recommend especially if you are a creative or inquisitive person. Very clean, warm and cosy cottage. Lovely decor and linens. Beautiful setting, pretty gardens. Everything was well appointed. Very handy to the town centre, everything within walking distance. Our hosts checked in with us to ensure we had gotten in OK. We would highly recommend this cottage. We had a wonderful relaxing time.

Old school beachside cottage, down to earth and relaxing in beautiful surroundings. Sharpest kitchen knife I have ever found in an airbnb - fantastic if you are a cook. Loved it and would go back in a heartbeat.

Fabulous view. Could walk to the Moeraki Boulders (45 min) and short walk (10 min) to local watering hole (Moeraki Tavern). Stunning view from Whaler's Point also walkable. Short drive to lighthouse. Seals plentiful and we also got lucky and saw penguin!

I'm very glad we ended up staying at Lake Hāwea, as opposed to Wanaka. The lack of tourist clutter was incredibly peaceful and having the ability to walk down the lake front and essentially have the beach to yourself was spectacular. The house felt cozy, like a classic NZ bach. We only had four of us staying here, but it allowed us to spread out and enjoy our own space. I imagine having a larger group would be great too though. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. P.s. The knives in the kitchen could so with a sharpening, or replacing!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The kids played endlessly in the back yard and pool as well as at the park across the street. We enjoyed playing pool in the game room and walking to the nearby beach and trails. The house is not in the best of maintenance (worn out carpet, door knows that don’t quite work, etc), but these were not show stoppers for us. No regrets for picking this place, if you have a big group and are looking for a great location, some extra space, and a cabin-like feel, this fits the bill.

We had a lovely stay is a great home with stunning views. We would like to have stayed longer. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days stay.
