管家很熱情的介紹，房間、廁所乾淨，淋浴的水量也很讚，在冬季晚上洗澡很舒服。行鹿離水社碼頭、遊客中心很近，要搭船遊湖、搭公車、搭台灣好行巴士都很方便，加上樓下就可以租借機車、腳踏車、電動車、隔壁也有7-11。老闆也很懂當地美食，而且最開心的除了是晚上在小而巧的公共空間與其他旅客暢聊之外，也認識了一位香港的朋友。在這裡所感受到的除了旅行上住宿所需的整潔便利外，還有最重要的是台灣人待人的溫暖，我只住一晚就覺得行鹿對待旅客就像是自己的朋友，也像是自己的家一樣，下次去日月潭一定會再來行鹿訂房，推薦給計劃要去日月潭旅遊的你/妳。

Fantastic Stay at Deer Traveler Hostel! I had a wonderful stay at Deer Traveler Hostel in Sun Moon Lake! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the lake, bus stop, and many local attractions. The hostel is modern, stylish, and impeccably clean, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always offering great recommendations on places to visit and things to do. The common areas are well-designed, making it easy to relax and meet fellow travelers. The beds are comfortable, with privacy curtains and individual lights, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Everything about this hostel exceeded my expectations. If you’re visiting Sun Moon Lake, Deer Traveler Hostel is the perfect place to stay. Highly recommended!

Nostalgic stay as time stood still. Wake up, walk, eat, spa and repeat. Friendly neighbourhood and very understanding host. Enjoyed the simple breakfast and fresh air.

Really cool area with lots of history. Unfortunately it is kind of on the decline, lots of abandoned buildings. Really beautiful area and the hot springs is relaxing after a day of hiking. For parking, I wouldn’t drive up the hill, park at the bottom and walk up.

The best hostel for facilities and convenience I've stayed at, and we're maybe up to 100 there. Cabins are great, everything was clean and functional, great showers. Sadly I seem to have visited in off season during the week and it was pretty quiet, but a very pleasant place to spend a couple of days. There's a bit of a moisture control problem in the cabins so make sure you make use of their rooftop to dry towels and anything wet.
