We really enjoyed our stay at The Senna House. We were looking for a lovely experience in nature & this listing was a perfect fit. The moment we left the tarmac road and joined a rough but very driveable road, we knew we were in for a wonderful time. We arrived deep into the night and were treated to stunning views of Nakuru City at night on our way. Our unit which is even better in person, exceeded the expectations set from the photos on the listing. Angie was gracious enough to grant us an early check in and the space is truly amazing, from the spacious living area flowing into an open plan kitchen to the large en-suite bedrooms with adequate closet space for any needs. The house is even more beautiful in the morning with floods of natural light coming through the large sliding windows in every room. We also got to explore the lodge right next door that boasts various amenities such a pool, restaurant & kids play area. We will definitely visit again and recommend them to any traveler

Heath's house has been a haven of rest and beauty for our family for years. We have been away from Africa for awhile, but during that time Heath has made some significant updates to the house and grounds that make the place even more "homey" and stunning. We strongly recommend having Eve cook for you! Heath's wife has worked to train Eve, and she will serve you top-notch cuisine (try the Middle-Eastern dishes!) that you would be hard-pressed to match at any restaurant. It is really nice not having to cook for at least one meal and makes the getaway more special and restful. We strongly recommend this place if you are looking for beauty and tranquility.

What a stunning view. With two young kids the location connected to the Great Rift Valley Lodge is brilliant - the kids spent all day in the pool and loved the kids club. The place had lots of space and was very comfortable. Lucille was very easy to communicate with - a great host.

Beatrice's place matched the photos and it was clean. The host was responsive and welcoming. My family and I enjoyed our stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Faru House, Kathy has a spectacular team on site to assist with all that you need. This was a relaxation trip so I didn’t leave for any activities but they have recommendations for activities one can explore if interested. From the front porch, I saw Gazelles, Zebras, Buffalo, Warthogs and a variety of bird species. As a solo traveler I felt very safe and would definitely recommend this place to other solo travelers. The house is even more beautiful and spacious in real life. I look forward to visiting again! Thank you Kathy and team for a memorable stay 😊

Marc’s place was perfect for our multi-day stay and group of 6 (plus 1 toddler). The house is situated in a beautiful, private compound north of the lake but within an hour drive of most activities. It was a great launching off point for daily adventures, yet was remote, peaceful and restorative at the end of the day. The house was spacious and had everything we needed during our stay. Caroline and Benter also helped to make our stay special— and left us feeling grateful and full after the delicious meals. Thank you, Marc and team! We can’t wait for our next visit!

This villa and the nearby cottages are on a beautiful piece of land. This is the second time we have stayed with Samawati, and we will be back again. The house is unique, with lots of space. Susan, the manager, is incredibly friendly. She made breakfast and dinner for us each night and was very accommodating to our requests. She had perfect hospitality. Thank you!

This is a great place especially for a quiet family vacation. There were 3 bedrooms on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms upstairs. One of the top bedrooms had twin beds which was convenient for our two boys. Cons: We had limited access to the pool at the lodge next door owing to the festive season We did not find a washer and had to hand wash the kids' clothes. Sending for amenities took quite some time, but we resolved this by doing bulk shopping in town. The access road was poor Pros: The place is new and well thought of. A remote quiet place with a very nice view of Nakuru city Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, very friendly and helpful staff on site. The host is a very welcoming person who handles all requests efficiently and with no complaints. He also provided clean drinking water on the house and had someone available to run errands in town. Conclusion: I had a very pleasant stay at Gabriel's apartment. I will definitely visit again and recommend others.

We loved our stay at Michelle’s rental. Everything looks brand new and is in great condition. It’s located right next to the gate for the wildlife sanctuary which was very convenient. Walking around the property, you also have beautiful views of the wildlife and lake. The house was very comfortable, each bedroom had its own bathroom and it was very spacious. The appliances in the kitchen worked well and everything we needed was provided. Michelle went above and beyond ensuring there was a bed for our baby and a high chair to use while we were there. There were a couple small concerns that she was quick to address. Michelle is very helpful and responsive, she wants to ensure you enjoy your stay. Thank you, Michelle for being so accommodating! You have a lovely space and we will be back!

Lovely house with spacious bedrooms in a great location, just a bit far off the main road.

Host was very responsive and kind, cleaning and restaurant staff polite and friendly! The property had plenty of privacy and felt like being in a beautiful artistic home.(a lot of hand made artwork and decor) There are so many activities to do around the property when you enquire at the reception for pricing and the kitchen was well stocked if you want to cook for yourself. 100% would recommend ☺️ Thanks Aly ❤️
