Great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and just as described in the listing. The host was responsive and helpful throughout the stay. The location was convenient and made it easy to explore the area. Would definitely recommend to others and would be happy to stay again!

Previously booked this airbnb after a friend booked a similar airbnb next door to the current one last year when i came to Osaka. Really convenient and good pricing for an airbnb as its a few minutes walk from Shin-Osaka Station. Overall a good experience too since they have amenities which are able to accommodate the trip for me and my friends and a host which is responsive and friendly to our needs

A great place a bit out the way, I would definitely stay again .I would recommend to rent a car or a bicycle to get back at night. the local Transit shuts down 8ish. but a very nice place. just look for all the boats.

Wonderful place to stay with family

The place was wonderful, and description was perfect. It was walking distance to food, massage, and close to train station. I highly recommend if you are visiting Kyoto.

Stayed as a group of three on a family trip. The building, interior and garden are all lovely, and staying here provides quite a unique experience that you can't get from a regular hotel. It's a few minutes away from a Family Mart, and less than a 10-minute walk from Gojo station. The number 5 bus near the station also goes through the central shopping area, and toward many sightseeing spots. Inside there are two separate spaces/tables to spend time together as a group, and the shower and bath feel quite luxurious. The two beds are comfortable, and one person can get the full futon experience in the other room. It's a little close to a main road, but it didn't seem to affect my sleep at night.

Such a wonderful and traditional style home! Very modern and clean amenities. Nice & private. Close to supermarkets and some shops. Excellent communication from the hosts. It’s around a 30 minute walk into the CBD. Awesome shops in the city. Highly recommend. :)

Beautiful home that blends modern and traditional Japanese architecture. Every light is a dimmable LED on the main floor, and we appreciated the glass-walled garden at the center. Upstairs we only used the main room room, but everything is tatami mats and shoji screens so it's very peaceful.

This is the first time I've written a review with so much care, because the boss is worth it!!The house is very quiet, the area is very large, the surrounding transportation is very convenient, the furnishings are very Kyoto-like, and the free green tea is delicious.Before we checked in, the boss carefully sent us the check-in instructions and things to note, and the whole process was smooth.In Japan for 9 days, this was our most satisfying homestay.Due to the rush of the trip, I left my belongings in the B&B. The owner didn't eat lunch to help me contact the courier, which took several hours, and I was very touched!Great value for money, highly recommended!

It is a gorgeous place located really close to Inari shrine and plenty of Izakayas. We had a lot of fun staying here as a group of friends.

The best stay we had in Japan! A traditional house that has everything you need! It’s peaceful and quiet with a beautiful little backyard with a bathtub. It’s spotless and crystal clean! The location is unbeatable, close to transportation and all the main attractions! Communication was excellent and the host was proactive! We went everywhere by foot! We had an amazing experience and I couldn’t recommend the accommodation enough when in Kyoto!

We had a great stay in Kyoto! The location was super convenient—just about a 10-minute walk to Gojo Station, which made getting around the city really easy. The home itself was exactly like the photos: clean, thoughtfully designed, and comfortable. One of the highlights for us was the traditional Japanese bathtub. It was deep and relaxing—perfect after a day of exploring. The host also stocked the kitchen with useful basics like soy sauce, salt, and pepper, which was a nice touch and made it feel more like home. The washing machine with a dryer function came in handy, especially since we were traveling light. And the host was very responsive whenever we had a question or needed anything. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d definitely stay here again if we come back to Kyoto.

It was a pleasure to stay at this place. Comfortable and cosy. Friendly hosts. As mentioned in some other reviews, you can hear a nearby noisy street in the evening. Otherwise it's a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood.

We have visited Kyoto a number of times, and Araki's house is definitely the best place we have stayed at. I cannot recommend it highly enough, and Akari is very friendly and helpful as well.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Kyoto! The place was spotless, cozy, and had a lovely traditional touch while still being comfortable. It’s in a nice neighborhood close to public transport. We would definitely stay here again!
