This is the only place in Japan!An inn where you can rent out a nationally designated important cultural property.As it is limited to one group per day, the owner (landlord) will serve as a dedicated concierge for the guests (those staying). The Kimura family has two Important Cultural Properties. Meals are served in the main house, which was built in 1699. Guests will be able to stay in an old but new building (an important cultural property) that will be renovated by 2026. In Japan, there are four confirmed lodgings, including our home, that use nationally designated Important Cultural Properties.Of those, this is the only accommodation where you can rent the entire building. However, that's why you can experience a nostalgic time from the past that can only be found here.For guests staying for multiple days, such as 2 nights and 3 days, the host can also take them to sightseeing spots for a day.I can only speak Japanese, but I know how to converse with guests from any country using a translation tool.I know how to use words that are easy to translate. I like traveling. I have a wife and 3 kids.I understand the difficulties of travelling precisely because I have a family.Children 18 years old or younger accompanied by a parent or guardian are free.We offer a friendly service that can only be provided when there is only one group of guests.

10 seconds to the river! A retro Showa house perfect as a base for traveling in Shikoku

A retro Showa-era house in the middle of Shikoku, right next to the Asemigawa River, one of the clearest rivers in Japan. 10 seconds on foot to the river. Enjoy a nostalgic and peaceful time listening to the stream. Right in front of the house is the owner's restaurant, "Asemigawa Shokudo Kadoya", which is popular for its teppanyaki and other dishes made with local ingredients. We offer great deals for guests, so please stop by. A small separate room adjacent to the main house has a relaxing space with a room theater. You can enjoy movies and music and spend a relaxing evening. We also rent out free floats and underwater glasses for playing in the river, making it perfect for families. It is an inn filled with nature and playfulness. Activities such as canoeing and rafting are also popular on the nearby Yoshino River. There are plenty of food attractions, such as the legendary Wagyu beef "Tosa Akaushi" and the local rice that won the best prize in the national rice contest. Supermarket and convenience store are 3 minutes by car, and Mont-Bell Outdoor Village Motoyama is 7 minutes. It is also a convenient base for sightseeing, about 60 minutes by car to Kochi City and Iya Valley. Come and enjoy a trip where you can experience tranquility, nature, local flavors, and fun.

This is a small, private rental accommodation located in the mountains of Soya, Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture, with only one group per day.Outside the window, the mountains and villages of Uya stretch out before you. You can enjoy a quiet stay while taking in the scenery, a little away from the bustle of tourist spots. The accommodation is located on the property of the host's family home, where they were born and raised.We built an inn where you can enjoy Uya's nature and quiet moments on the site of a barn that stood for about 100 years. A newly built private rental with a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and toilet that can accommodate up to 4 people.It is especially recommended for a relaxing stay for two people.The water in the building is spring water drawn from the mountains. This accommodation is room-only, but cooking utensils, dishes, basic seasonings and rice are provided, so you can cook your own meals.There are almost no convenience stores or restaurants in the area, so please prepare food and drinks before entering Uya. Kazurabashi in Uya is about 10 minutes by car.The BBQ, hibachi and hakama rice experiences are paid options that require advance booking.
