Another long stay at Forge End has come to an end for my self and work colleague. Again a big thank you to Alea for accommodating us and looking after us over the past 13 weeks and during the booking process. Forge End has been a real home from home for us and has made a long period working away from home a really enjoyable. Your home in Applecross is real find for us and if/when we are required to visit Applecross you will be our first choice every time. Thank you again from both of us.

One of the loveliest places we've ever stayed! Superb and spacious accommodation, beautifully decorated and really well & thoughtfully equipped - it will *exceed* your expectations. With the sauna and hot tub, it's not easy to drag yourself out of the house! And to top it off, the view across the loch is utterly mesmerising. Vivienne was a great host, letting us know everything we needed and leaving a lovely welcome pack. The house is in a peaceful location that is still handy for the main road and great for interesting local walks .... if you can drag yourself away! Can't recommend highly enough 😊

Roskhill cottage is awesome. We spent 5 nights here and made our stay truly special. The house have everything you may need and more, the beautiful view and garden filled with flowers, the BBQ hut it’s a great plus, comfortable beds, impeccable clean, good size bathroom and shower, close to little groceries stores, delicious bakery and good coffee, Dunvegan Castle and gardens and fantastic walkings around, plus gorgeous Coos cows! Really worthy place. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing couple of days in this awesome Airbnb. Michelle gave us a warm welcome, when we arrived. The house is a perfect place to explore the Isle of Skye and relax in the hut tub in the evening and enjoy the sea view. We would have wished to stay longer and will definitely be back. One hundred percent recommended.

The house on the Isle of Skye was more than big enough gorgeous four or even five people. The cozy living room was great for the evenings. The company, holidaycottages, was very professional and gave us all the information we needed. And in case of an emergency or other needs, the phonenumber of the owner was available as well. The view from the house was amazing as well and the wood stove and the jacuzzi were great bonuses. Would definitely book again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Betty’s Lookout! Incredible place, with stunning views. Spent my 30th birthday here, and I couldn’t have imagined a better place. The only thing was the hot tub could have been a little bit hotter, but was still nice to soak in for a while!

Stunning property and location ideal for all the lovely local beaches. Very cozy and comfortable. Great to park right outside too!

Words cannot do justice to this amazing property; it has to be experienced to be believed. Terrific view of the bay just steps out the back door, yet near the center of town. Extremely quiet. Spacious. Comfortable. Fantastic master bath and bedroom, with two tubs, two sinks, and a wonderful shower. An office for work or reading. Powder room and storage room. Good washer and dryer. A good kitchen and dining area. Comfortable sitting room with a telescope for viewing the bay and its ptarmigan inhabitants. Great tv and internet. Separate sauna building with a view of the bay. Amenities galore, including boots for walking on the beach, And the most thoughtful attention to details that you'll ever encounter. Also, the hosts are extremely generous. It's simply lovable.

great stay at obbe view! gorgeous views and an easy to find location with plenty of space and kitchen amenities. if you are staying in the summer, recommend an eye mask to block out the long hours of sunlight! enjoyed the skylights in the bedrooms for natural lighting. thanks for a great stay.

Fantastic cottage and great place and views.

Angel Share is the most memorable place of our stay in Scotland. In addition to being completely beautiful, the hosts are of incomparable kindness. Always ready to help us, but quite discreet, it is one of the biggest favourites of our trip. Bonus with Max and Maddle's zootherapy. What's not to love✨

Beautiful cottage. Felt out of the way but was close to road into portree. Very warm building, bathroom and rooms superb. Would highly recommend and revisit. Visiting sheep was an added bonus!

Communication was excellent, and the owner was very friendly. The property is comfortable and spacious, perfect for our family of four. The owner has wonderful taste in books and artwork, as well as in hand soaps, such thoughtful details! The view from every window was phenomenal, and we even spotted a rabbit in the backyard. There are many carpets and rugs throughout the house. We did notice some hairs and fur on them; while it would have been nicer if the floors were a bit cleaner, we understand that keeping all rugs spotless can be a challenge.

A wonderful stay! We were very sorry to leave the lovely Indigo cottage! Would highly recommend a stay here. Spotlessly clean, great facilities, gorgeous views and very helpful, responsive hosts. Only 20 minutes from Portree. Sheep for neighbours and the walk to the pub for a delicious dinner, recommended by our hosts, was perfect.

A lovely cottage situated in a beautiful quiet location with only the birds and deer as neighbours. The cottage was warm and the bed very comfy. Kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of books and DVDs to watch in the evenings once the sun had gone down. A lovely cottage if you want peace and tranquillity. We were also blessed with fantastic weather and we were able to sit outside and enjoy watching the wildlife.

Fossil Cottage is an absolute gem! We loved our time there and cannot wait to go back. For us, it was all about the idyllic location, on top of which, the place is exactly as described: clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. Despite being slightly off the beaten track, it is only a short distance off the main road hence conveniently placed for the amenities in Broadford or Kyle as well as for exploring the rest of this wonderful island. Our thanks to Fiona for being a great host, we hope to see you again before too long.

Great little house in an absolutely gorgeous location—the perfect base for exploring Uist. Rhonda was an excellent host, regularly contacting us with any updates and ensuring that we had everything we needed. Hope to be back soon!

Wow, just wow! Absolutely amazing place. Inside, outside, everything. Didn’t want to leave. Definitely check this place out if you can. Was so nice also on a rainy afternoon after hiking to be able to light a fire and chill. ❤️

We had a super time in the bothy. The kitchen was so well-equipped, with lots of cutlery and crockery, a good sized dishwasher and even a slow cooker - we particularly liked the wine glasses with the Isles of Harris and Lewis painted onto them but couldn't find any ourselves to bring home! It was quiet and spacious, with lovely views towards the loch and hills which you could look out towards from the thoughtfully placed chairs with blankets in the porch. Fiona was a helpful and friendly host and communication was very easy. We enjoyed visits to Luskyntyre beach, Gearrannan Blackhouse Village, Dun Carloway Broch and the Calanais Standing Stones, and the Good Food Boutique in Stornaway is well worth a visit!

The Joiners Cottage is a very special place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would definitely return. Yvonne was very proactive with communication ahead of our arrival. The property has all the basics as well of lots of extras and a lovely welcome pack (milk, bread, eggs, biscuits 😋). The WiFi wasn’t working when we arrived, but Robert came straight across and sorted it really quickly. He is a great friendly host.

We absolutely loved our cottage! Super comfortable and very clean. It is located in a calm place, but very close to Portree by car. Sarah was always available to help and we truly appreciate all the tips given, it was great

Lovely well equipped little place with 3 fine beaches within walking distance and cakes on sale at the bottom of the garden! Might be a bit cramped for 4 adults but fine with kids.

This was one of the best airbnbs I have stayed in. It was well accommodated, spacious, peaceful, and just beautiful. We had a full house at this stay and never felt cramped. I loved that each room had its own full bathroom. The kitchen was beautiful and I wish I had it in my own home. We were in walking distance to a coffee shop, grocery store, gift shop and the claymore restaurant/shellfish shack. The shellfish shack was a highlight for us. If you can it's a must eat. The windows in the bedroom has mechanical blinds that blocked out all the light, which if you visit during the spring/summer and like to sleep in darkness it's a must. The views from the living room and bedrooms were gorgeous. We caught beautiful sunsets. I would definitely stay here again and again if I could. I look forward to visiting again one day.
