Mary is one of the warmest Airbnb hosts I have ever interacted with. She ensured that all our needs were catered for during our stay at her home. The house is quite massive and has ample rooms for a large number of guests. The rooms upstairs have amazing views of the rugged Mwatate landscape and if you wake up early enough you can catch amazing sunrises . The house also has a large garden that you can walk around. It is situated a bit far from the main road so you would need to access it using a vehicle or a motorcycle.

Would definitely come back another time. Peaceful and green surroundings (though there is a mosque on the opposite side of the road, the waking up time was reasonable), apartment was clean, quite luxurious and there was lot of space. Everything worked well.

We had a wonderful stay at John’s place! The house is nestled in a beautiful, green area with scenic walking paths leading to the hills - perfect for nature lovers. The property is shared with John’s family, who were incredibly welcoming and helpful in showing us around, making us feel right at home. A small tip: we recommend checking the route in advance, as GPS may direct you to a rough and rocky road. Overall, a fantastic stay in a peaceful setting, we would definitely return!
