We had a very nice weekend in Huntsville at the Aux Box and were very happy with the accommodations

The black fox cabin was beautiful with luxury nature vibes. Great for a relaxing weekend get away to recharge the soul.

My husband and I spent a few nights here and it was fantastic. Brad and Erin were friendly and very responsive! The cottage was everything we were looking for. Quant, private, hot tub, on the lake, pet friendly. What more could you ask for? Highly, highly recommend!

I would 100% stay here again. The apartment was fantastic, extremely clean and cozy! We didn't have many concerns or requirements during our stay, so we didn't have much interaction with Marsha outside of our check in and check out instructions. Check in was super easy and directions were clear. Check out was also extremely simple and had extremely basic requests for checking out. If you are looking to stay in the area, I would for sure recommend staying with Marsha.

We had a lovely stay at Sochet’s place! It’s absolutely stunning, well taken care of, and easy to find. Sochet is also very communicable. I would be weary when travelling in the winter and ensure your vehicle is well equipped to handle the conditions - we have a crossover SUV that struggled to get up the steep, narrow driveway due to ice. The parking space is also very tight this time of year, and we couldn’t fit more than two vehicles. Just a word of caution :)

Chelsea’s cottage was absolutely beautiful. The bedrooms were comfortable and beds/linens super comfy made us feel right at home. The kitchen is very well stocked and bathrooms had towels and everything we needed. The tv was already connected to Netflix and Disney plus which was awesome and the fire pit was beautiful to sit around. The cottage was super easy to find and service and wifi was perfect the whole weekend. Chelsea was quick to respond and super helpful even providing a cute guidebook with all the information we needed about both the cottage and the town nearby. She was also super accommodating by working with our schedule for a bit of an earlier checkin and checkout. We were here for a little bachelorette weekend and this was the perfect getaway. Only downside I would mention is that the neighbours next door on both sides are very close. So in the summer months guests may want to be extra mindful of noise and note that the neighbours are very very close.

We were a group of 5 adults and 2 small dogs, and the cottage accommodated us all very comfortably. Compared to many other Airbnbs we've stayed at, this one was exceptionally well-equipped, making for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay. The kitchen had everything we needed — cookware, glassware, cutlery — all set up for preparing and enjoying meals with ease. Firewood was generously provided for both the outdoor fire pit and the indoor wood stove, which added a cozy touch. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. There was no shortage of things to do — between the outdoor spaces, the games room, the large-screen TV (perfect for catching the NHL playoffs), the hot tub, and the nearby walking trail, we had plenty to keep us entertained. Although the other space on the property was also occupied during our stay, the setup is so well thought out that we barely noticed — it still felt wonderfully private.

The house is exactly as pictured, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen had all the appliances one could hope for. All of the beds were very comfortable with clean bedding. The house boasts a perfect view of the lake and is peacefully tucked into the forest. Our family stayed to visit Sandhills Nursery nearby for Easter activities for the kids. The house is also driving distance to a lot of great hiking trails and outdoor activities. We will definitely be back!

This was the second time our family has booked Jen’s place. Why? Because it’s a warm and inviting space we all enjoy. It is as advertised and checks all the boxes you want and need for a family weekend. Thank you Jen for letting us share your place!

The pictures don't do this place justice. It was better in every way. Grand kid and pet friendly. Will definitely be back if she will have us.

We really enjoyed our stay at Helve! The lake is beautiful, the trails are well maintained, it was peaceful and quiet at night. The bedrooms are larger than expected and the main area was great for hanging out and cooking. The fire pit was fun to use and our toddler enjoyed playing around the beach/boat launch. We hope to be back for another stay at this cabin in the woods.

My friends and I stayed at this cottage over Thanksgiving weekend and had an amazing time! The cottage was clean and had all the amenities needed. The location was beautiful, with the canoe, kayak and pedal boat being an amazing way to explore the lake. Kristian was also a great host - responded fast, gave recommendations, and was very welcoming. We would definitely recommend this place!

We had an awesome stay (my husband and 5 year old). Janice made us feel like welcome guests in their space and takes great pride in their cottage. So many down to earth things to do & explore! The pictures do not capture the wonderful experience we had. Waking up to the sights and sounds lily pad pond and then hearing the frogs & crickets at night was a lovely experience. We would highly recommend this cottage stay. Great space & Great hosts! Thank you we would stay again!

We booked the airbnb very last minute and Lixin reached out to us promptly and gave us clear instructions. The cottage is stunning , it actually looks better than the pictures. overall, we had a wonderful weekend over there.

Me and my family stayed there for a week and although the weather not always was nice (that's what's yo get for going between sessions) we had a really great time, the lake was so nice and relaxing, the kids enjoyed running around and picking up lots of conifer cones, we all enjoyed a relaxing sit and marshmallows by the fire in the evenings. I really enjoyed they canoeing despite the freezing cold water. There's a nearby playing ground just 5 min walk where the kids could blow of there energy and just 20 min drive to the wonderful town of Huntsville where we enjoyed the maple festival and the great restaurants and of course the naughty chocolatier. Taylor were always responsive and kind for any of my questions and made our stay so pleasant and easy, thanks for having us hope to come again in the summer ☀️ 😊

We stayed for 4 nights at this cottage in late September, just as the autumn leaves were setting in. It was rainy at night but we enjoyed cozy nights watching The Hobbit or playing board games by the roaring fireplace. During the days, we did multiple hikes around Hardy Lake, went to Bala (a very quaint town-we made jokes about being in a cheesy Hallmark movie), toured the cranberry bogs and trails with hot wine drinks and just enjoyed time at the cottage. There is something for everyone whether you’re a cook, book-lover or outdoors enthusiast. We brought our two dogs who loved hiking the trails, watching chipmunks, swimming near the shore , and lounging on the dock. They even got into the canoe. There was a friendly senior dog who wandered down to say hi a couple times. The highlight of it all- we got engaged there! :) :) :) Sarah and Chris, you must be so proud of this enchanting cottage where so many special life moments were created.

Our stay at Sunmeet’s place was excellent! He was very responsive and quick to communicate, which made everything smooth and hassle-free. He was also kind enough to accommodate our request for a late check-out, which we really appreciated. The space itself was cozy, clean, and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient and well-situated. Highly recommended!

Perfect little getaway with friends - we very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage! We loved the peaceful backyard and the fully equipped kitchen. We also enjoyed Tiny as there were lots of trails and beaches to explore. Samuel made check-in very easy and was quick to respond to any communications. Highly recommend this stay!

If you are looking for a cozy getaway, this is the spot! The views are beautiful and private, it's VERY clean and not to mention the space it’s self is stunning. We cannot rave enough about the cabin & the hosts. Matthew & Sara were very helpful and replied very quickly to any questions we had. We would 100% recommend this cabin to anyone. Nicole was a fantastic host. Her place was super cozy and well supplied, has everything you could possibly need for a weekend stay. Highly recommend staying at boom-shack-a-la. 11/10.

It is clear the owners have put a lot of care and thought to every aspect of a stay at their cottage. Outside, there were 3 canoes available with PFDs and paddles; the dock was perfect for fishing- we caught bass and sunfish, and catfish, plus we also swam too. Pool noodles and ample outdoor dock seating was also available. The outdoor seating and dining area was really wonderful and afforded a view of the river still but also surrounded by trees that sound so lovely in the wind. There are neighbors on either side but everyone keeps to their own and feels very private. The barbecue worked great and it was so thoughtful how there was a lighter and a spatula and tongs clean and provided for easy access. The place was stacked with things you may have forgotten at home like a post-swim q-tip or herbal tea. The forest across the street is uninhabited and was great for mushroom foraging. I would 100% recommend this place as it had exceeded our expectations at every turn.

Location was fantastic. Easy driving distance to towns and trails. A good central location for the places we wanted to go. If you have young children the stairs may be an issue as they are quite steep and hard to navigate in the middle of the night. Upstairs is quite spacious so we took an air mattress and one of our kids slept there while the other took the bed.

amazing spot very cozy, absolutely stunning. Madeline was very helpful and accommodating. the only issue was we couldn't find a broom to sweep the floors when we left lol. so I give a full star rating thanks for letting us check in early and allowing us to park the trailer at the Airbnb while we went atving in the beautiful area. this is a must book for anyone and everyone
