We were looking for a quiet place in the country to turn off and relax. This rustic cottage delivered in bucket loads. It is rustic. An old shed that had been tastefully rejuvenated into a cosy place to kick back. If you love horses you will also appreciate the art on the walls. A non- fire awaited us out the back to watch the stars by. And the carport had a power point to charge our EV. The farm owners are warm and welcoming.

I have been on the Murray River twice before on Houseboat Holidays but this is the first time I haven't been anywhere on the Houseboat. The location couldn't be any more perfect. Enormouse gums, birdlife and total, absolute silence the whole time. Even though it was a long weekend there was noone within cooee! Apart from one houseboat quietly passing one morning, the only other traffic on the river were pelicans. No speed boats, no jet skis. An absolutely stunning place to stay. We will definitely be back.

Highly recommend this beautiful part of the world. Lauren and Michael made this stay, easy and enjoyable right from the start. What a beautiful getaway, one that has made us fall in love with the Murray region. Hopefully we are able to enjoy this accommodation (and the bath) again soon.

We were immediately impressed by how neat and clean everything was on arrival. The grounds were also immaculate. We had a great time using the fire pit and the kids loved the trampoline. We would love to return in summer to use the pool. The location was perfect for what we needed with a great amount of space for parking too. All 12 of us loved our stay and the kids didn’t want to leave.
