Kristal’s cottage offered everything we wanted and more—great natural light, a creek running out back, surrounded by majestic trees and a yard where the neighbor’s chickens wander, an efficient little kitchenette where we cooked most meals, and a gorgeous bathroom with fabulous spa bath. 🛁 So grateful for the stars that aligned for us to have this week-long magical getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Intimate Rainforest Retreat! This was a beautifully appointed, private space which backed on such peaceful surrounds. Our host - Graham - was so attentive and took the time to really make our stay special for us with some personalised treats and some great suggestions locally. Would highly recommend staying to truly relax, unwind and zen out! Thank you Graham - we'll be back!

Absolutely loved my stay at Mellow@Mullum! The place was perfectly cozy and relaxing, just as the name suggests. The host was super welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was also fantastic - close to all the local goodies and easy to get around. Can't wait to come back! Highly recommend 😊

Stunning airbnb that exceeded our expectations. Came here for a little weekend away from home for our anniversary. It was quiet and the scenery was beautiful. The home was super cosy during the winter evening with the fire place going.

It was such a special experience to stay here!! A super cute little cabin atop a hill surrounded by lush gum trees and nature- oh the serenity! 🌳✨🌄 My parents built this home and I grew up enjoying this property thoroughly, creating many memories with my family, especially my late father, Gerry. It was a surreal but genuinely wonderful experience to return here to enjoy a stay in the cute little cabin Thea and Justin have built here, and relax with a delicious soak in the magnesium hot tub! ✨ Thea and Justin were so very accommodating, hosting me for a delicious dinner and allowing me to walk through their home, as I reminisced the days I called it home myself. What Thea and Justin have done with the place since it became their family home - is heartwarming to see. It's comforting to know the place I grew up watching my father care for and put his sweat and tears into building, is being looked after and appreciated so greatly by Justin and Thea with the same creative passion. 💚

Thanks Benita for an amazing stay. Exactly as described, and we really enjoyed the space and the little details we noticed in the Cabin, like the towel hooks, and the bench running through to the bedroom and the lead light glass capturing the morning sun on the wall. Also, I just love the front doors! The fresh eggs and mandarins were an excellent touch(and we enjoyed the honey ;) ) We also took a wander amongst your variety of birds, goats and cows which was really interesting too….they are a talkative bunch. Thanks again and would definitely stay again in the future.

We had a truly lovely and relaxing stay at this beautiful retreat – the perfect escape from the city. Kerry and Barry have created an idyllic place for guests to unwind and reconnect with nature.The property is teeming with wildlife – we spotted wallabies, water hens, ducks, and even caught a 45cm catfish in the lake! The serenity here is incredible. Amy discovered the lake sits at a crisp 20°C after falling in during a paddle-boarding attempt, but fortunately, the 37°C spa was the perfect way to warm up afterwards.Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We’re already looking forward to returning and can’t recommend this retreat highly enough!Thank you again, Kerry and Barry! We loved our stay here. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Very close to town and a lovely quiet neighbourhood, which, considering it was the Easter long-weekend was amazing. We would love to come back and stay here again. Thanks so much for having us.

Beautiful, quiet, clean cabin with everything we needed. Communication beforehand was excellent and the setting of the cabin was wonderfully tranquil. They made the effort to leave a fire pit and wood out for us as well. A lovely place to stay!

the stay was beautiful and we had a great time, so happy we were able to bring our dog and he loved it. Bonnie left very clear instructions for how to get in to the property (however i wasn't able to see the byron built signs mentioned), and how to checkout. check in and out process was smooth. the airbnb was immaculately clean and beautifully styled, perfect for a couples getaway. also props as it is very disability friendly. really great amenities available with a really well stocked kitchen, BBQ, and utensils. the surrounds and property were beautiful and backed onto a beautiful creek which wouldve been perfect for swimming if it had been sunny. only note is that it was described to be private/secluded. although we had no issues with it, the next closest unit was only around 50m away and when the people staying in the unit returned they were able to see into the lounge room of our unit quite well. very minor criticism as this didn't bother us at all.

Great place to stay if you want to be away and secluded. Beautiful view to wake up to. Joff was very responsive.

all in all this was a great place to wind down and spend time with your loved one/s in a cosy environment

This place was absolutely amazing! From the moment you drive up the driveway you know you’re in for a good time. Perched upon the rolling greens hills of Byron Bay the first things you notice are the exceptional views. As you enter the property you immediately feel like you are home. It has everything you need to be self contained and was warm and cosy, not to mention the amazing smells of the hand made soaps that radiate through the house. Our host was simply amazing, very kind, friendly & welcoming. If you are looking for accommodation in the region you can’t go past it. Less than 5 mins to Bangalow for your morning coffee, 15 mins to The Pass for a surf and when you are done for the day you come back to the little sanctuary where you get to share the sunset with the cows as it sets behind the hills. We didn’t want to leave this place and neither did our dog but will most definitely be back.

Sharmin was a great host and was very easy to communicate with. The location couldn’t have been better, it was walking distance to shops and restaurants but still felt quiet and peaceful. We had a lovely stay and would definitely love to come back!

The most magical spot for a getaway. Charming, rustic, cosy and with luxuries like an outdoor bath, shower and sauna. Would return in a heartbeat. Seamless check in (and out) and Josh was super responsive and lovely to deal with. Thank you so much!

We really loved our stay here at the buttercup bungalow. The place was beautifully decorated and everything was super clean. We arrived very late at night after a long drive and Kelly had left the heater and lights on for us, which we were super grateful for as we just wanted to rest after a really big day. Kelly even brought over a box of toys for our 2 year old son which he loved as well. Thank you again for the lovely stay, we are grateful for your hospitality and will definitely come back again when we get the chance :)

Had the pleasure of staying at Rongotai. Such a beautiful cosy place perfect for a getaway weekend for 2 people. Two beautiful decks to choose from to sit around and enjoy the wilderness and the birds. We had the pleasure of meeting their furr babies also. Margie and Rueben were wonderful hosts, the cabin was clean and very comfortable with all amenities plus extras! Would highly recommend close to everything and will certainly go back again. Such a peaceful, beautiful stay. The place has everything you need to escape for a weekend or longer, a perfect hinterland getaway. Because of the location, come prepared with food/supplies to self cater. Within driving distance to some wonderful hikes. The bed was incredibly comfortable with added comfort from the fireplace. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend.

words can't describe how perfect Hilltop Haven is .. exactly what the soul needed to reset .. everything was absolutely beautiful ! decor, location and the view !!! on arrival we recieved a welcome basket full of goodies and the bed was soooo comfy ... waking up to the view of the mountains was top notch ... oh and the then there is the bath tub, outside .... the most epic experience !!!! do yourselves a favour and book a stay here ... pics dont do it justice and you definitely wont regret it .. thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your gorgeous cabin !!!

Beautiful place to stay and relax by the fireplace 😊

My partner & I spent the weekend here for our anniversary & even with rain all weekend it was the perfect setting. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and cookware, more so than any other place I have stayed in the past. To top it off, Susan & Peter also leave plenty of goodies for you to have during the stay. The bed was comfortable, extra blankets are all throughout the place as well in case you want to snuggle up on the couch or outside. The bath was big & filled up with hot water surprisingly quick. The glass windows along the waterfall side of the cabin provide plenty of natural light & a beautiful view throughout. Now to outside, little seats were set up with tables for a nice spot to curl up for a coffee, wine or to read a book. There are also little bar stools & a bar along the balcony next to the Weber. All of this overlooks the private waterfall, & if you’re lucky enough to visit on a non-rainy weekend, there is a fire pit down by the waterfall edge. Highly recommend
