This place was great. Wonderful views. Private and quiet. Non-stop hummingbirds visiting the feeder on the deck.

*100/10* This was our second time staying at The Glass Treehouse and it was just as fantastic the second time around as the first! It's so comfortable and cozy, luxurious amenities, secluded and romantic. You can tell that Ashley and Andy really put a lot of thought and care into the design and amenities for the guests. I highly recommend it to any couple looking to get away for some quality time together. We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. The cabin was well designed, And the decorating is spectacular! And the views are absolutely breathtaking.! The only things we were disappointed in is, there are no screens on the window and the water pressure is very low.

Exactly what my family needed to relax and recharge! The cabin was super clean at check in. It was also bigger than I expected and had plenty of space for us to spread out and relax. The views from the porch were breathtaking. Can't beat having coffee in the hot tub watching the sunrise. We enjoyed hiking, floating down the river and ended each night with s'mores around the campfire. The town was cute with lots of shops and great ice cream. Host was super responsive and gave detailed instructions prior to our visit. Quick to respond when I asked for local recommendations. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Everything was great. Loved the porch and the views. Lots of great extras such as coffee pods, spices, paper products, etc.

Kay’s treehouse was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. We loved how cozy it was, the view and enjoyed all the amenities. We’d definitely go back to Banner Elk. It was so cute, we loved it!

Perfect couples getaway. We enjoyed the serenity, amazingly soft bed, rustic feel, and modern amenities. We will definitely be back!

Lauren’s place was amazing! We enjoyed sitting by the fire at night and the kids loved the hot tub and ping pong table. Everything was clean and lots of chairs for the entire family. It is tucked back into the woods so it was quiet and peaceful. We also enjoyed watching several deer walk past a few times. I’m highly recommend Lauren’s cabin.

My girlfriend and I had a great time spending the weekend at Tucked Inn and, for the most part, everything went as smoothly as expected! We arrived late, and there was a gentleman there starting some work on the property’s hot tub. We got in touch with Donnie using his phone, and my understanding is that the repairman was meant to arrive earlier in the day. I don’t necessarily believe it was any fault of the hosts that he was around. The drive up is straightforward as long as you follow the instructions the hosts provide; the path requires 1.5-2 miles of unmapped travel, so a GPS alone won’t quite get you there. Although I would definitely recommend traveling with a higher-clearance vehicle, my compact sedan made it up just fine with some caution and patience. Overall, Tucked Inn was a great space to unplug and unwind which is something we both really needed. It’s a very cozy and low-tech-vacation space I would hope we have the chance to come back to in the future!

We loved staying here! The cabin was perfect and it had everything we needed. The bathroom was nicely updated, the kitchen and linens were clean, and the couch and bed were super comfortable! Great amenities in a beautiful place for a reasonable price!

Very nice country cabin, comfortable and peaceful. Family felt right at home in spacious home, back patios best place to chill and enjoy the forested yard.. well equipped kitchen to keep everyone fed. Thanks to Steven for a great place to stay, he was attentive without being intrusive. Wish we could have stay longer.

Just book it!! Y’all, this place is amazing. The photos don’t even do it justice, it’s just too pretty to describe! Not a single detail is missed, and the views are incredible. This cabin just feels like home. Alison has so tastefully decorated it, and it feels like a luxury space with cozy elements in every corner. It’s SO clean—smells so fresh, everything is pristine. The covered porch is obviously incredible, but we also adored the fire pit area for the views and seclusion on top of the mountain. Yes, the driveway is tough, but it’s 100000% worth it once you’re up there. Like the host states, as long as you have 4WD, you’ll glide right up (just take it slow)! We had no trouble in a pickup with 4WD. I promise, it’s not nearly as steep as it first seems once you actually drive it, and it is sooooo unique and incredible up top!! I would live here in a heartbeat. Trust me, just choose this place! Alison was a wonderful host as well, and so helpful and friendly :)

The A-frame was exactly as described. Kitchen was well stocked, appreciate the coffee! Beds were very comfortable and plenty of towels, etc. we wished we had time for one more night here to enjoy all the board games!

Marilyn’s space was perfect for a weekend getaway. Compatible kitchen (note there is no full sized oven but this wasn’t an issue), comfortable furniture, and absolutely stunning surroundings. We spent nearly all day outside hiking, wandering the property, or simply sitting in the yard/eating in the gazebo. Would one thousand percent stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful stay! Marilyn was also available for any needs we had and was respectful of privacy at the same time. Couldn’t be happier!

We loved staying at the Trails End cabin with our kids. It was the perfect place and location for the outdoor activities we had planned. The children loved sleeping in the loft & we appreciated the little gift basket of goodies upon arrival. Would definitely stay again & would recommend to others!

Very quiet and peaceful! Had a little trouble finding the house but we got in really late which was our fault otherwise we would’ve had no problem! The hosts instructions were very clear which helped a ton! Everything was clean and comfortable. Thanks so much!!

This place is fabulous! The house is gorgeous and the expansive property is a dream! We loved hanging out on the deck watching all the birds (25 species including Cedar Waxwings and Scarlet Tanager) and admiring the wildflowers. At night, there were tons of fireflies and incredible views of the stars (no light pollution). The house was spotless, the bedrooms spacious, and the beds super comfortable with lots of extra quilts. We also appreciated the fully stocked kitchen. They literally provided everything we could possibly need!

Recommend this cozy cabin to all of you who is looking for a peaceful and beautiful surroundings on top of the mountain. Trails are not far away, same with a grocery store’s. Plenty of space to play with a family or just walk around in the morning cloud while drinking coffee. High clearance vehicle is mandatory to get there.

I had a lovely stay at Sheree’s cabin. It’s quiet and has a stunning view of the mountains, even going up the road there are lovely views. The cabin had everything I needed to cook meals. I also slept like a rock in the bed, and I tend to have a hard time sleeping in other beds. Sheree was also very sweet, responsive, and gave helpful instructions. Also West Jefferson has a very nice downtown area nearby. Thanks again for the wonderful stay!

What a great cabin! Everything was clean, and the location is absolutely beautiful. Short drive to Grayson Highlands, Damascus, and there is fishing in Laurel Creek just 5 minutes from the Cabin! Will definitely stay again the next time we are down here!

Cozy Hideaway is the perfect name for Jackie's place. We selected Jackie's place based on location. I communicated with Jackie initially and she was very helpful. We needed to be near AT, as my husband was section hiking from Marion to Damascus. Location was very important and this was the perfect HOME BASE. With the Railroad Store/Cafe (highly recommend) across the street, and having a stocked kitchen allowed us to make our own meals - which was great! The main living area opens out to a larger "open air" screened room. WIFI was strong, which also allowed me to work remotely with no issues. If you are section hiking the AT or just want a peaceful get away, I highly recommend "Cozy Hideaway".

Great place to stay. Dog friendly and clean. Super cute and cozy. Private and quiet. It was perfect and would recommend and would stay again.

We stayed for only three days but had a great time. The kids loved the game room.

All the comforts of home. Brad was very responsive and communicated clearly. Decorating was cute and not overdone. Finish work trim and floors in the cottage were all oak and done with precision. Brad is in the top two hosts we’ve ever had on AB&B.
