This place was absolutely perfect for a big boys trip. The place itself was amazing and had everything we needed. This was our second stay at this beautiful lake house, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered! Even though the weather wasn’t perfect this time, the house more than made up for it—it’s modern, clean, and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. We really appreciated the hosts' recommendation to check out the local indoor pool, which was a fun way to spend a rainy few hours. The lake is incredibly clear and peaceful—such a calming view to wake up to. Our kids had a blast fishing and paddling around in the paddle boat. The whole trip flew by way too fast, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again. A new local favorite for us this trip was Redemption Cafe—an absolutely adorable outdoor spot that’s perfect for a coffee break, ice cream, and antiques. Highly recommend stopping by! This house continues to be a special retreat for our family!

This A-frame is to die for!! Seriously the cutest place. Very peaceful and cozy in the center of nature. You truly are secluded and have lots of privacy. We didn’t realize how far away we were from things but just a 20 minute drive to iron river did the trick if needed last minute things from a dollar general. You’re only an hour-ish away from Lake Superior — it was fun driving through the forest highways! We grilled out 2 nights at the cabin using the charcoal grill that worked perfectly! Host responded fast when we had questions. The bed was so comfy as well! The host has a captioned picture of the indoor fireplace in use but in the book at the cabin you’re instructed not to use it, that was pretty much the only bummer due to the weather being on the cooler side of 50s-60s but we cozied up outside with the fire pit, played games (lots of games and movies host offers) and made s’mores! It was the perfect little getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary! :)

We don't have a single complaint everything was as described. The view was fantastic and the setting was as if we were in the middle of the wilderness. It was quiet and the wildlife was amazing from loons, turtles, fish and frogs to beaver, deer, mink, and a diverse host of woodland animals. If you are looking for a Northwoods stay rich in wildlife, solitude, and serenity this is the place. A paddle on the Bay out back brings you into a world that is hard to find in WI without a long hike into a national forest wilderness lake.

We’re very selective about where we stay, and this place absolutely checked all the boxes. It’s a very nice cabin, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend! Everything was spotless and very well stocked - we had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The beds were comfortable, and we loved how calm and peaceful the lake was. We enjoyed drinking coffee in the mornings on the deck overlooking the lake and had many meals out there as well. It was the perfect place to unwind. The property itself is beautifully maintained and clearly well cared for. Brent was fantastic with communication, responding quickly and was helpful to any questions we had. The location is also great if you're looking to explore Copper Falls State Park, a must-see in the area!
