About 10 minutes on foot from Takatsubashi bus stop (free shuttle service to Hongu-cho to Hongu Taisha Shrine). "Sei" is located in a quiet village overlooking the Kumano River. You can spend time with your family and friends without worrying about other people. An inn in nature where you can see the starry sky at night and wake up to the sound of birds in the morning. There are hot springs nearby [Yunomine, Kawayu, Watarase (free shuttle service)]. We offer light meals, drinks, etc. Breakfast includes bread, eggs, etc. You can also order various bento boxes (for a fee). You can bring in your own food. BBQ tools are also available for rent for a fee. Please let us know when you book. Feel free to use the kitchen. Feel free to use the microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, rice cooker, etc. Feel free to use the basic condiments as well. Washing machine installed. There is also a shoe dryer. Guesthouse Agae is a limited stay for one group that has been renovated from an old private house.The property is in a very convenient location, with the Kumano Kodo and Chikaruo Prince approximately 550 metres away (about a 7-minute walk), and a supermarket (A-COOP), bus stop (Kodo Aruki no Sato Chikatsuyu) and restaurant (Tororoya) all within a 1-minute walk. As the owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, they will do their best to answer questions about walking the ancient pilgrimage trail, provide advice, and offer transport if needed.We can also provide a personal guide, so please feel free to ask. Located on the southern slope of Mt. Myoho, one of the peaks in the World Heritage Kumano-Nachi mountain range, this is a mountain hut-style private accommodation with a 180-degree panoramic view of the mountains and the Kumano Sea spreading out below.　 The accommodation building has a traditional Japanese sunken kotatsu fireplace and a wood stove, so you can experience rural life, warm yourself by the wood stove, and be soothed by the flickering flames through the glass. Vegetables, blueberries, and fruit trees are grown on nearby farms, and you can experience picking them. We also raise chickens, so you can enjoy a slightly different morning egg rice with freshly laid eggs. You can also enjoy nature and refresh your mind and body in the midst of the seasonal scenery. As a Japanese cultural experience, there is a calligraphy lesson by a young female calligrapher. Reservations are required and it costs 1,000 yen per person for about an hour. We are a small farmer who grows rice, vegetables, herbs and flowers. During your stay, we provide rice and vegetables that we grow, as well as fresh eggs from Kumano. For safety, a motion-sensor camera is at the entrance; it only takes still photos when someone passes, never continuous video, ensuring privacy.

"Genki House", a house near Kumano Hongu-Taisha

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)

Kumano Nakahechi "MINE-no-Yado" Mine own house

"MINE-no-Yado" Mine own house is a small Japanese style cottage in Mine village where includes Takijiri-oji, the entrance to the sacred mountains of Kumano. The house is at an elevation of 300m. You can enjoy a panoramic view of Kumano mountains, a wonderful starry night and even sea of clouds.
