The chalet is a warm and comfy place to relax, cool off, hike/bike a trail or two, enjoy long-range views(elevation is 3,383 feet - Mt Mitchell is 6,683), listen to some good music, sip your favorite drink, and rejuvenate your soul. Roaring Fork Chalet has paved roads that are all well-maintained. The mountain roads are curvy, and the subdivision is steep in parts. No four-wheel drive is needed to get to the chalet except in the winter months. Dog accepted with/ prior approval (fee applies).

Surrounding the cabin is another 500 square feet of living space with a deck, outdoor soaking bathtub, and patio with a fire pit and propane grill.
