The couple's cabin is one of three close-knit pavilions at The Bower, rustique rainforest retreat; a tiny hamlet only 10 minutes drive from Maleny and 20 minutes to Woodfordia. Relax in front of the warm wood burning fireplace, enjoy the abundant bird life from your private deck, soak in the antique clawfoot bath, and lose yourself in the celestial clerestory views. You have the ground floor all to yourself in a 2 storey house. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place. Only 15 minutes drive to the beautiful hinterland town of Maleny and 15 minutes to the popular Australia Zoo or 30 minutes to the beaches at Caloundra. Children are welcome and we provide a high chair, a safety bed rail and a port a cot, if needed. Your dog is welcome also, it will share the backyard with our friendly dog unless you advise otherwise. I can keep my dog upstairs.

Retreat to your private, cozy, hand built rustic stone cottage with modern conveniences. Nestled in the foothills of the Blackall Ranges on a 15 acre hobby farm. Close proximity to all the wonders of the Sunshine Coast. Your days can be filled with activities and your nights blanketed in stars relaxing next to the fire, drink in hand. Honeyeater Haven Garden Studio

Just a 15 minute scenic drive from Maleny you will find peace and tranquility staying in the self contained garden studio here in our pretty forest setting. Wake up to the sound of birdsong and enjoy the many varied feathered friends that call this place home in addition to wallabies, kangaroos, possums, bandicoots, echidnas and even the occasional koala. Some of the more regular visitors being a variety of honeyeaters, yellow robins , king parrots , rainbow lorikeets and fairy wrens.

Belltree Ridge - Private Rural Escape

Belltree Ridge is an absolute treasure in a stunning location. It is an extremely unique hand crafted homestead built from reclaimed and local timber. It offers complete privacy and is just 11 kms from the township of Maleny. For winter comfort, a wood burning fireplace and for summer an outside fire-pit . The three bedrooms have ducted air-conditioning and heating. We now have Starlink Wifi but will happily turn it off so guests can really disconnect from their busy lives.

Birdsong Villa - Figtrees on Watson

Birdsong Villa (at Figtrees on Watson) is a purpose architect designed fully self contained cottage for use by our short stay guests. It is on the same property as our very popular Betharam Villa (see Figtrees on Watson listing for photos and information about this beautiful property). The villa has been designed to be wheelchair friendly with wide door opening and minimal door sills. The villa was completed in early 2021 and had been finished and furnished to a high standard.

Our cabin is nicely positioned to allow access to many scenic day trips taking in places such as Maleny, Montville, several National Parks & The Glasshouse Mountains. We have put together some suggested itineraries to help you make the most of your time with us and includes trips to waterfalls, short and long bush walks and restaurants. Or of course you are welcome to cook your own pizzas in our pizza oven under the stars or light a campfire.
