Guests rave about "views of the snowy pond while you’re warm inside" from heated floors and a wood burning stove with free firewood. Spikes provided for wonderful winter walks.

The East Cabin is quietly tucked between the beautiful Green Mountains of VT and the gorgeous Adirondacks of NY. Soak up the morning sun on your private stone patio while mother nature comes to life on the pond and fields. Take a day trip to beautiful Lake George or Historic Saratoga Springs. Grill steaks on BBQ and eat S’mores by the campfire at night. For the winter season, there are many major ski resorts close by. We also have the West Cabin available for your extended family and friends.

Cabin-by-the-falls

One-bedroom cabin (one double bed only) for those who want tranquility. Parking at main house and then short walk downhill, then level rocky trail to the cabin, which is located at a stream and waterfalls. There is a composting toilet, electricity and water. Wifi at main house, on deck, 5 mins walk. Wood burner in cabin, and propane stove in outside kitchen. A stand pipe (potable) or water from nearby stream (non-potable). There is a deck overlooking the stream with a picnic table.

Come relax, unwind and enjoy the year round beauty and fun at our cabin on Perkins Pond! Many activities to enjoy with each season.. Kayak, canoe, fish and swim or float, nap on the hammock in summer months.. Walk, hike and enjoy the awe of Fall color.. Snowshoe, skate, ice fish, cross country ski on the frozen pond during winter and enjoy downhill at Mt Sunapee just 8 min away or just relax by the wood stove!! The house is NOT on the lake itself, but it is surrounded by trees in a lovely secluded spot. The only heat is a wood stove... but there is a 4-person cedar barrel sauna in the woods that is electric. A classic 1952 Spartanette travel trailer serves as an extra bedroom. This is a true retreat for romance and adventure.
