Kristy is a truly caring, wonderful host. Arriving after dark we went to sleep listening to the gentle rain on the roof and the frogs croaking. No traffic noise or lights here. In the morning the full beauty of Crystal Cottage was revealed, Wallabies on the lawn, Lorikeets, birds and chickens in a gorgeous, bush environment just outside our door. So much life all around. Plenty of safe space for kids to be kids and play and explore including the stream. I was incredibly moved by the beauty of this place. The kitchen was generously stocked with all the everyday basics, condiments, tea/coffee, cereal, fresh eggs, milk. Plenty of cooking equipment to use and all the essentials including baking paper etc. Sparkling clean bathrooms were stocked with beautiful body and hair products and plenty of nice big fluffy towels. The house has everything you need, lovely art throughout, so many games to play. Wonderful Childrens books to read. Book in to stay, you wont be disappointed.

Great communication from start to finish. The photos of the property were really nice but once we arrived, we realised how truly beautiful the property and chapel were. It was comfortable and welcoming. A great place for me and my girls to get ready at and such a beautiful location to do all of our photos at. I can’t recommend this place enough and have already told so many people about it. We are even thinking about booking a little weekend away here (even though we live 10minutes down the road). 5 stars all round. It truly took my breath away. Thanks again to the hosts, Jackie and Bella. You were both so kind and easy to communicate with. And the special treats we were welcomed with was the icing on the cake. Thanks again!

One of the best holidays I’ve ever had. Everything was beautiful no matter what the weather. Wish we didn’t have to leave and can’t wait to go back!

This is the second time we have stayed here and it was even more fantastic this time. The second bathroom has been renovated which just shows Jacqui is constantly reinvesting in this beautiful home. This house has everything you could want or need. It is exactly what an Airbnb should be with everything being extremely well equipped (especially the kitchen). There is barely a utensil or pantry basic you won’t find and the same goes for the cupboards of games, firewood and bathrooms. We were offered a late check out without having to ask and Jacqui’s communication was fantastic throughout the booking. Couldn’t recommend a better spot in Stanthorpe with a more gorgeous view of the river and such a short walk into town. We will definitely stay again.

Amazing. Absolutely beautiful location and views Andy and Jim were so accomodating and friendly but also gave us privacy, they helped us and was super responsive. The tiny house is perfect, beautifully designed and so much storage. My son LOVED the cows and all he wanted to do was watch them and talk about them the whole time. We had plans to see some local towns but didn’t leave the farm because it was just too good.

Thank you Jenny and Angus for allowing us (me and my Mum and Dad) to stay at your beautiful old church so we could attend the annual Sunflower Festival. Even though our stay was short we had an amazing time. The Sunflower Festival was fabulous and then to arrive at our accommodation and be greeted by your warmth was lovely. The church was beautifully furnished and we were very comfortable. Another special touch was the bread and fruit and avocado. Was so nice to have a breakfast in the morning with the provisions you left for us. Loved all the crockery and all the little nick nacks, art work etc. Wonderful to walk 2 mins up the road to the Indian restaurant for dinner as well. All in all a special weekend staying in a special place. Thank you again.

Had a lovely time here! This spot is great value, with heaps of great restaurants and a winery within walking distance. Vanessa was a lovely host, making really helpful recommendations for spots. She was also very generous with fitting out the kitchen with food for us. :) the place is very nice and clean, and has a lovely outdoor area with coffee which is lovely to chill out in. would love to come back- what a hidden gem 💎

This was one of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed in. Beautiful property, private, near local wineries, surrounded by nature, clean, authentic (not pretentious), breakfast, firewood and wine provided, easy key handover, environmentally sustainable, well priced. Was a little tricky to find, do not follow SatNav/maps. Go to vineyard entrance. We will definitely be back, thank you so much for having us!

Beautifully renovated cottage. Location is quiet but very close to city. Walkable. Comfortable for one or a family. Space to move. Will return.
