The vacation home is located in the small village of Joao Bom. The place is located in one of the most varied areas of the island, about 5 km from the seaside resort of Mosteiros and in the immediate vicinity of Caldeira Sete Cidades. In the village about 250 m away there is a small minimercado with a café. The house is located directly on the hiking trail to the cliffs to Mosteiros and to Caldeira Sete Cidades. The location offers a scenic and quiet starting point to explore the rest of the island.

Casa das Taipas is a 2-bedroom house in the heart of Vila Franca, right in front of the sea with an outsanding view to the Atlantlic Ocean and Ilhéu, a volcanic islet known among the villagers as the Princess Ring. It is a century-old house, recently recovered while maintaining the stone structure. Very calm and quiet area where tranquility is a privilege. It has a beautiful view of Pico da Vara as well as the sea and the parish. The house is in an area where you can see the sunrise.

Les Açores, et en particulier l'île de São Miguel, offrent une multitude d'activités et de points d'intérêt pour les visiteurs. Pour information il y a un petit commerce alimentaire un peu plus haut dans la rue (ce n’est pas plus cher qu’à Ponta Delgada) et vous trouverez presque tout pour votre séjour.
