“We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Staci's cabin. I really don't know where to start! The cabin was clean, chic, and had everything we could possibly need (air conditioning works perfectly). The outdoor BBQ/sitting area is incredibly peaceful and comes stock with two of the sweetest most beautiful black labs you have ever met, Brutus and Percy. Full disclosure - the black labs alone are reason to visit. John manages the property and is always close by with a smile and helping hand if you need it. The location is prime and we felt very safe and comfortable throughout our entire stay. Horses wander around nearby, Hawks glide overhead, and Turkey's trot by in the pasture. I could write a short novel about our stay and how happy we were with the cabin but I feel I have proved my point - This place is PERFECT!”

“This is the second time I have stayed at this "treehouse," which is a sweet, well-appointed two-room (plus a bathroom) shack on a steep hillside between two residential small apartment buildings. It's clean and comes with little unexpected surprises (bottled water, granola bars, beach chairs to use) and the hospitality of John, the owner, who is readily available to share information on what to do and where to go. Most important to me is the firm, comfortable bed with soft bedding. The second bed--a single in the small living room area--is much less firm, but worked just fine for my teen. It really is a 5 minute walk to the beach and all of Avila Beach's charm, so it's a great choice in this area with very little in the way of vacation rentals.”

“I stayed one night at Colleen's lovely place. It was super homey and I felt very safe staying there esp during these covid times. The kitchen and rooms were so we'll furnished. It was so nice to have a water dispenser there too! She provided very clear directions on how to get there and there was a parking spot ready for me. This neighborhood is very quiet and safe to walk around in the evening. Its only 3min from the cliffs where there are bench's you can enjoy the view. Definitely stay here and recommend staying here if you wanna split your drive to/from Socal up. Perfectly located in the middle.”
