Gorgeous scenery! Great view of the mountains from both the front and back of the house. The house was very nice and clean. The location was perfect as it was remote and private while also being close to the Hellesylt ferry and other attractions. Amazing stay, would absolutely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon - everything from useful hiking suggestions, quick to bring us anything we needed, to a magical hotpot experience! We couldn't have asked for more out of our stay of from Venise and Gaby. The location was perfect for accessing the less known hiking spots but still with those spectacular views, as well as being close to the ferry so it was easy to hop over to Volda. It was peaceful and we loved the views over the water, and we made good use of the fireplace for cozy evenings. Don't be put off by the road near by, there is very infrequent cars so you hardly hear anything at all!

Fantastic space and view! We also had the opportunity to test the new beautiful sauna that is located by the sea with a beautiful view.

We used this location for 4 days and had 3 families under one roof. We did some hiking, the via ferrata, The Golden Train, and the gondola. Ole Petter was responsive to any concerns we had. A bonus for the 3 year old we had with us was the friendly horses that were in pasture next to the house. Even when it was raining, it was a beautiful place to sit and look out at the mountains.

A large and cozy house with all the amenities needed for longer stays. A nice place to work remotely. The area is beautiful and from the house you have a beautiful view. Despite a lot of rain during our stay, we enjoyed the mountains, the house and the cider. The contact with Borgny went very smoothly. We were warmly welcomed and were even invited to go fishing with them. All in all, had a very good stay here!

A quiet week in a beautiful environment - we are delighted with our stay! The cabin is simple but comfortable, even when the weather is rainy. The fridge and solar panels work perfectly. The least convenient is the toilet but even the children, who were a little afraid of the idea of this dry toilet, got used to it… We loved the water from the spring, excellent and cool, the lake is very close, the children did paddleboarding there happily, we did boat rides, tried to fish (but without success). We recommend!

We could feel how much love and care for the details is being invested in this place from the first sight, and we immediately wanted to treat it the same way. Terje was a warm, caring and thoughtful host and we had an unforgettable weekend at his gorgeous place! Stunning views, beautiful nature and a perfect symbiosis between the old and the new. We‘d love to come back one day.

We had a lovely time at Kristin’s house, it had everything we needed. It is very peaceful with lovely views, we did a beautiful hike straight from the house which the hosts recommended. They were very welcoming, friendly and responsive. We could park next to the house and charging was available, which was great. We can definitely recommend the place.

Very, very happy with this special night. The farm and environment is wonderful. Anne went above and beyond our expectations to accommodate to some special needs! We hope to come back with the sun this time!

What a wonderful home away from home for a long weekend! The house is part of two different worlds - one the rural Norway of the past and the other very much the present. Being on a working dairy farm also made us reflect on the sources of our food and how much we take for granted day-to-day. We enjoyed convenient access to kayaking, hiking, cruising the fjord by ferry to Geiranger, and cooking local foods in the well-appointed kitchen. Special thanks to Synnove for fresh home-baked bread and sending on our way with slices of cake for the journey.

Staying at this farmhouse lovingly cared for by Liv & Bertie was a magical and rewarding experience beyond just staying at a “place”. I was personally greeted by Bertie on a very rainy night and welcomed by a fire he’d started for me. After 30 plus hours of travel that was a wonderful start to my adventure which only got better with each day! Not only will you have half a farmhouse to yourself, you will also have a gorgeous sitting area in the yard outside overlooking the bay and far off mountains with munching sheep and horses for company just beyond the fence. Take a walk down the dirt road and you’ll find a beautiful small beach. Time moves at a different pace here…but if you’re visiting in the summer, the days never end anyway! The spacious and cheerful kitchen has everything you need. The bathroom is small but very nicely renovated and appointed. Towels and sheets very nice quality. And this place is immaculate! Not a speck of dust! WiFi can be a bit weak. I never wanted to leave!

The pictures don’t do it justice. What an amazing place to stay, the view is just incredible not matter which direction you look from the house. The house itself is super cozy, well set up with everything you need whether for a night or a week. The area is beautiful as well and the hosts gave us excellent recommendations for what to do around town. We liked it so much we didn’t want to leave! Thanks so much

Mona is very kind and hospitable. She met us when we arrived and showed us the place and the surrounding. The house is clean and matches exactly like the photos. It's kitchen is sufficiently equipped. The surrounding is serene and beautiful. In addition, it's just a short drive to Molde. I would recommend Mona's house if you are traveling in the areas. P.S. There are a few steps of stairs to the entrance as well as stairs to the sleeping areas. If you have mobility issues, please be aware.

It was really a great experience on our last night in lovely Norway. We agreed that we could have easily spent many more days in Rannei's lovely home than the one night we had. Lots of space, so cozy, such a well-equipped kitchen; nothing was missing, and in addition, a great view. Thanks to Rannei and her husband for their kindness.

Fantastic Airbnb and host, location is central to everything in the area in both winter (skiing) and summer (hiking). The space has a very comfortable bed, cosy fire and well equipped kitchen. Highly recommend!
