Second time we have stayed here, will make it a third sometime in the future. Great cottage and location

Simpathetically converted malt house in a peaceful setting. Good sized house with absolutely brilliant garden that had plenty space for the dogs to run around. Comfy beds with fresh linen, towels, robes and slippers. Well stocked kitchen with thoughtful welcome gift. Cozy lounge with plenty logs for the burner. Great little study space for those that still have to do a bit of work. Hot tub clean with non-slip rubber mats around it. Unfortunately, more careful attention needed from cleaning team in places, which was disappointing - for the money, perfection expected. Warning for fellow townies - go less than walking pace along the track to prevent the underside of your car getting scraped, unless you drive a land rover. Also, the bins are located at the end of the road, so stinky rubbish needs to go in the car - too far to carry it. We're not precious about our car but our son flatly refused to take it in his new car!

Beautiful place, beautiful view, beautiful wildlife! We absolutely loved our long weekend here, it was clean, comfortable and peaceful. We will be back!

Such a beautiful little get away with so many little hidden gems nearby! Was quiet 24/7 and we loved the peace and the amount of sun the garden and hot tub got. Such a cosy cottage and made us feel at home straight away, worth the drive! Thank you for a lovely stay ❤️

We stayed here for a week with our grown children and their partners. Alasdair's cottage was perfect. It immediately felt cosy and comfortable. The games barn was a fun addition, and a great place to store our bikes when not in use. We got the hot tub going and once up to temperature it was easy enough to keep it ticking over for several evenings. The kitchen was well appointed, enough utensils, crockery and pans for us to cook each night. The cottage is next to open fields and farm land with quiet roads that lead to Cublin Forest. This was an amazing place to explore on foot and on bike, especially the peninsula that runs along the Findhorn Estuary and into the sea. Deserted beach and inquisitive seals. We also drove about an hour north to do some hiking at Glenmore in the Cairngorms. After our busy days adventuring it was always great to return to the cottage to relax and sleep soundly in the super size comfortable beds.

We had the most wonderful stay in Butlers cottage. The attention to detail and interior was incredibly thought out, we have never stayed in such a beautiful cottage. The fires were lit upon our arrival and ross was there to welcome us in and show us around. He was genuinely one of the nicest hosts we have met, you can tell he’s passionate about what he does by how incredibly presented everything was. The garden and grounds were stunning, plenty of routes to walk the dog and plenty of places to sit and take in the surroundings. The cottage is tucked away, very nice and private yet still easy to get to and close to the little shop! which we loved. We bought the homemade rolls kit and they were to die for, easy to make and ended up with loads of them to take home. We will without a doubt be back again soon, we didn’t want to leave!!!

This place saved our holiday! We were camping in the Cairngorms and ended up with a catastrophic failure of our tent on the second night. Booked this beautiful cottage at 3:30am and checked in just over 12 hours later! Communication from Laura was fab, and she was always on hand with any queries we had. Delightful little cottage, and the bonus of a hot-tub and sauna made for a very different holiday than we had planned in a soggy tent. Would highly recommend, and would certainly look to go back if we stay in this part of Scotland again

Truly “off grid” in the literal sense! It runs on batteries and a generator!! Despite it not having wifi we all had great 4G so never felt truly disconnected thankfully. It’s such a private place with literally nobody for a square mile or more probably. I would say in the winter you will need a 4x4 to access as it’s a mile down a dirt track! Amazing place and can’t wait to revisit :)

Charles and Laura are amazing people and the Housie is just as amazing would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely cottage. We come to Cullen 2 or 3 times a year and this cottage is up there with the best. A real bonus was having a tumble dryer! Coming home no dirty washing was brilliant. Thank you.

Perfect little place, couldn’t be better. We loved staying here. Highly recommended for a seaside getaway. This place is so modern and clean and in a perfect location for walks and as a base to go further. We didn’t need to contact the hosts because check-in was easy and there were no problems at all. Thanks for our stay.

Çalums place was neatly tucked away in the Cairngorms what a beautiful place cute and quaint and such a lovely gesture to leave special coffee pods condiments local Scottish chocolates and wine such a lovely little place with room to rest recover from climbing hiking running loved discovering Nethy cafe nearby with friendly staff and angie the owner so lovely thanks Calum your place was wonderful

This is our second time staying with Liz. You wouldn’t know she allows dogs as so clean. The only thing I would do is add a couple of sun lounges and make the front of the property more attractive, however can’t wait to come back for the third time.

We absolutely loved the place. It has everything you could ask for and even more. Enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden, it had an amazing kitchen, lots of space and Louise was the most welcoming person and gave us amazing recommendations. We loved everything about our days in the Cairngorms. We will hopefully be back soon!

The cottage and lcoation are absolutely beautiful; it was perfect for a weekend of walking with my two dogs and relaxing in the evening by the fire. Very quiet and peaceful and the back garden is fantastic. I would definetly come again if I'm back in the area.

Lyn of Sheval Croft is a piece of heaven on Earth. It was incredibly charming inside and sitting in the dome in the evening watching the sunset was so peaceful. We loved watching the horses roam in the field behind the house. Jennifer was a great host giving us incredibly detailed instructions that made our stay seamless. She also provided fantastic recommendations for in home whiskey tasting by Steve and local in home meal delivery by Mac & Cat. We hope to make it back to Speyside and would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great stay at Duke's Cottage! It was easy to find and in a good location for exploring the local beaches. We did find the keypad used to check in a bit complicated but it did make you feel very secure when inside and no risk of losing a key. The cottage is decorated to an impeccable standard and felt very luxurious inside as well as being absolutely spotless. Everything had been thought of from washing pods for the washing machine, dishwasher tablets for the dishwasher and the chocolates left on the bed were a lovely touch. The bed was very comfy and we slept very well. The garden was very nice, our dog very much enjoyed it too. It was very dog friendly with a little basket left with treats, a blanket, poo bags etc. as well as water already being down for him. The only minor issue was the on street parking with neighbours often parking outside the cottage so we had to park further down the road. We definitely recommend Duke's Cottage to other guests and would love to return!

Great place to spend a few days close enough to the main centre but felt more secluded and private. Sheila was a great host not intrusive but always available if needed. Was great to have the little.amenities on arrival bread butter milk coffee etc. Definitely worth booking if looking for somewhere in the Moray area that is private but walkable to the town centre.

Rachel's place was lovely and homely. Lots of space inside and out. Within easy driving distance of lots of speyside.

As newcomers to Findhorn we found the location both beautiful and unique in its layout and closeness to the sea. We enjoyed exploring the many back pathways and tiny streets while making our way to the lovely beach. Our first evening was spent watching seals on a sand bar beyond the entrance to the bay. Lily cottage is very well appointed and contains everything needed for a perfect stay and more. The design and attention to detail is first class and we intend to pinch a few ideas such as the electric window blinds and the fabulous fish in the bedroom. The local amenities are excellent especially the Bakery / Deli which is literally just round the corner. Frindhorn is ideally located for visiting other lovely villages and attractions along the coast. We will definitely visit again. Thank you Helen and Fred

Wonderful cottage. Larger than imagined, very cozy and a wonderful setting in the large(!) garden. Jenny & David were excellent hosts: very friendly and informative. 100s of garden birds, including woodpeckers, and 4 or 5 red squirrels per day - right outside the kitchen window was mesmerising. Location was spot on. 10 min walk through the woodland to Grantown. 1 min to Spey river, 10 mins to old Spey bridge. Wider afield we travelled to Culloden, Balmoral, Aviemore - all in easy reach by car. Fantastic week was had - we will definitely be back as we only scratched the surface of what is on offer in the Cairngorms. Highly recommended!

The stay was amazing and everyone really enjoyed it. We booked it very late coz of our last minute change in plans and we got there really late in the night. Check in was smooth and everything well arranged. Hester was helpful. The village was so peaceful with amazing sea views and will visit again. Brilliant experience. Highly recommended

An immaculate cottage of very high quality. Secluded yet within a short distance of amenities. Findhorn is a beautiful village. We enjoyed the restaurants, everything from breakfast to dinner with ice cream in between! Claire is a supportive host and we have no hesitation in recommending this cottage. Alan & Jane
