Great place and great location on the door steps of Olympic. This has to be one of the most eco-friendly places in the area, with conscious decisions on disposable items. The place is a cute old house that has been well maintained, and spacious and cozy Amie and Cody have been great about describing the traffic noise (it is one of the busiest streets in town), and many others don't seem to mind -- it is more annoying than anything given you are on the outskirts of a national park in a small town

In a word, incredible. This is hands down the most beautiful place I’ve stayed in all of my Airbnb travels. The home is gorgeous and the views of the strait are breathtaking. The host was responsive and kind; we had no issues during our stay and the home was more beautiful than the pictures and descriptions could even capture. It was truly an immersive experience in the beauty of nature. We will be back!

What a lovely little place. It is centrally located to Olympic National Park and has all the small touches you would need to feel at home, from fresh coffee to snacks to hiking stuff! The hosts reached out to let us know of the farmers market that was happening and included a ton of great recommendations in their guidebook. I would definitely recommend for a couple looking for a quiet and comfortable place to stay as they explore the park!

This was our first time in Sooke and we shared Fredrick’s place with a friend we hadn’t seen in years. The warm home like environment, the separate bedroom ,bathroom spaces worked perfectly. The views were wonderful and we dined and explored the area easily. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful spot with plenty to do! Great location and plenty of ament and activities to keep everyone happy and relaxed. Would definitely recommend this property to any couples traveling to the area!

My teens and I stayed at Black Otter Cove for a two days. It was such a special place and next time we would plan to stay longer. The outdoor space is serene and the views are stunning. My husband and I had a wonderful 3-night stay at this beautiful home. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The space is spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. We especially appreciated the cozy touches, peaceful ambiance, and attention to detail throughout the home. The location was perfect—close enough to explore local sights and restaurants, but tucked away enough to enjoy some quiet downtime. The host was responsive and helpful, making the whole experience seamless. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Our stay was so peaceful! Very scenic and tranquil! This place is outside Forks but still minutes from everything! Rialto Beach was only 30 or so minutes away. What a comfortable stay! The house had everything we needed it was clean and comfortable and roomy and the outside was amazing with places to sit and enjoy the lake or read a book or sit around the fire pit. We all agreed we would not hesitate to stay here again! Thank you Laura for providing such a great vacation rental!
