Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Montrose County

We stay at Michelle’s place (the ranch) often. It is very convenient to what we like to do in the Crawford area. The place is always clean and has everything we need for a comfortable stay.

I cant say enough about this beautiful place! If you want a remote and tranquil get away, this is it. The house, which is the second floor of a barn, was beautifully decorated and very clean. It is very remote, its 25 min drive on dirt roads off the state paved road. Its quiet and many birds and elk around the property. There are other people who live nearby though. The first day there were neighbors cutting wood, which cut some of the quiet. But it didnt last that long. The house sits just behind the "main house" of the host, but he is not there all the time, and very respectful of privacy when he was there. His communication was great though. Even being so remote, there was consistent cell service via satellite wifi. I recommend completely although I want it to be available for me next time. :)

Never heard of montrose before booking Madison’s Airbnb, but would 100% stay there again. It’s well worth the price to stay in a beautiful, like new home with so much to do in the area and all the local nationwide chain stores nearby to stock up on supplies. A/c system works great, plenty of room and comfortable bed. The master shower is amazing ! Highly recommend.

We loved our stay, was our home base for exploring Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP. Luz’s place was immaculately clean and very comfortable. She was very responsive and gave us some great dinner recommendations.

This was a great place to rest & hang after spending the day in the national park. Lots of great local spots & restaurants. House was great for my family.

We loved our stay--such comfortable beds and easy to wander around the town. We wandered to the park across the street for frisbee and the playground, walked to the nearby fairgrounds to watch a barrel racing competition, enjoyed the local brewery for dinner, walked to a couple coffee shops and the farmers market, and took a drive to see Black Canyon NP--such a great spot for a weekend visit! We had one issue with hot water while we were there but Glenn was quick to respond and helped us solve the issue. Many thanks for a great stay!

Stacy’s house was peaceful and settled in a beautiful location. It really felt like a home. We have two young kids, and they loved being able to feed and pet the horses. We made s’mores by the fire pit. It was a lovely stay!

Stayed here on our roadtrip through Colorado. Great place to stay with a dog in Montrose that is walking distance to several restaurants. Easy to day-trip the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Brenda proactively sent some recommendations as well as instructions which were very welcome!

This is the perfect ridgeway stay. I almost don’t know where to start. Greg was very responsive and accommodating, the house is in the perfect location to walk into town, nice spacious, and with all sorts of useful amenities. A small feature I loved was a bonus sink and mirror outside the bathroom as an extra space to get ready. Thank you for a great stay! Would happily stay here again

Great lil spot out in the country, right off the road. Very easy to get to, and you barely notice the road while your there, not much traffic if at all. Great views of the surrounding mountains along with the famous olathe sweet corn fields. Great place, would definitely stay again.

Excellent home for a multi day stay with family. Plenty of space, with all the kitchen supplies/appliances we needed. It’s well stocked, well decorated, and spacious but it’s also an old home. I have a young daughter who was very spooked out by the noises of the radiator and the random little vacuum portals—nothing against the home just an fyi!

Lovely quiet stay, really appreciated the attention to detail like having the AC already running when we checked in, leaving lights for us. Very detailed instructions for how to get to the place

The hosts are friendly and responsive. I stayed about three months and the Casita met my expectations. Had my cat with me also and she loved the farm. She’s mad we left! Issues are handled quickly. Hot water heater went out on a Friday night and they had the new one installed next day. Location on a farm is peaceful. Not too far away from civilization, but far enough. This area has so much to see, this was a great base point.

This cabin is located very close to all great destinations we wanted to visit. Cabin has everything you would need for a comfortable stay, very clean. Views were just breathtaking. Highly recommend this property.

We loved living a little country life for the weekend! It was so nice to have our dogs, and the kids enjoyed exploring the farm roads. We even got to watch a crop dusting plane one morning! Lots of extras, the kids enjoyed: spiral staircase to a kids’ space with a tv, electric fire, bunk bed, bean bag chair, and some crayons and coloring books. TVs in every room and the two bathrooms were comfortable. This is the best location of all four houses, for views and privacy, so we’ll be back and stay at this one again. Hot tub was clean with good jets and privacy. There was a grill we didn’t use, but the couch and fire pit were perfect for enjoying the stars! The first time you drive out, it will seem far, but it got shorter every time we drove to town. It’s worth it for the views (little glimpses of the San Juans and West Elks, and also the Grand Mesa. Comfortable beds and AC! 5 stars!

This place was a super cute find. Nice touches all over the home. Hot tub was amazing. Honestly didn't think I would use it, but it was a highlight especially with be enriched environment as a yard!

Beautiful stay, exactly as advertised. Far enough out of town that you could get some peace and quiet, but not to far to where you could gather the essentials and do some exploring. Ouray and Black Canyon are appx 1hr away and we had a blast checking them both out over the weekend. Beautiful country and the perfect place to see it.

Great location. House had everything we needed. Loved the coffee shop across the street. Nice brewery next door as well!
