We are located in a quiet neighborhood, close to shopping, restaurants and many area attractions including Allerton Park, University of Illinois, plays, concerts and performances at the Virginia Theatre and Krannert Center. Or, you can simply relax in this peaceful retreat with the beauty of the countryside in the back yard while having a morning coffee on the screened-in porch. Your hosts live close by and are ready to welcome you!

The Depot B & B: A Peaceful Retreat

Just minutes from campus, downtown, and the airport, The Depot is a historic home attached to 5 wooded acres, a lake, and a "big sky" view across the prairie for watching sunsets and night skies. Originally a train depot constructed in 1857, it has been fully modernized for contemporary living. However, we have taken great effort to preserve its rustic charms that Abraham Lincoln would have known during his circuit riding days before the Civil War. These include graffiti from 1917.

West Urbana state street guest suite

Next to the heart of the UIUC campus and surrounded by mature trees, this spacious, serene guest suite offers a relaxing stay. It has a private entrance with a foyer, a studio style main room and a bathroom. Sleeps two comfortably with a queen bed and a sofa (not a pull-out) for lounging. No TV, washer, or dryer. No kitchenette, but a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker are provided. Snacks and coffee pods provided. Not accessible for limited mobility. No parties and no smoking.

The Black Box

Escape at this peaceful and centrally-located space. Very modern, new construction, all new furnishings and equipment. Shared building with landlord (has studio on site) sound proofed for privacy. Keycode access, security camera at entry, utilities included. Quite street, great space if you are outdoorsy. 10 minute walking access to restaurants and coffee shops. Trails and kayak drop-in near by. Botanical gardens and forest preserve trails to get in touch with nature.

The Hideaway - Charming apartment in Arthur IL

Enjoy exploring Illinois' largest Amish settlement while relaxing in this one-bedroom apartment one block from downtown Arthur, a village of 2200. Country charm abounds in this gem which sleeps three (full bed plus fold-out love seat). There is a private entrance, access to laundry facilities, and private parking off the street. We are 9 miles west of I-57 on Route 133 (take exit 203 at Arcola) and 40 miles from Champaign.

Sisters Cottage

A recently renovated Cottage, nestled in the heart of the small, quaint town of Arthur. Located next to the Arthur Park. Enjoy the clip clop of the horse & buggies going by as you relax and enjoy the back porch with table & seating. Plenty of back yard for playing games. A fire pit is located close to porch for roasting marshmallows at night. Arthur is a very innovative town with lots of shops to explore.

The Red House

Experience the charm of yesteryears with a stay in our beautifully restored 1862 Red House, nestled in the heart of Monticello's historical business district. Please note: The Red House is also home to a speakeasy-style tavern located in the basement level, with its own separate entrance from the rear of the property. The speakeasys normal hours are from 3 pm to 10 pm.
