Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Montgellafrey

We arrived and left late. The host was very accommodating about it. The TV was a good size and had Netflix. We only stayed 2 nights and only ate in restaurants. The kitchen looked clean and properly equipped even though we didn't use it. They want you to take out the trash and remove the linens. I find that a bit annoying since you also pay a cleaning fee, but those are their rules and they're not completely unreasonable. The bike path is easily accessible which was important to us.

We had a great welcome from Cathy, in addition to the visit, tips and tricks for visiting the area and fresh comforts awaited us (thanks also for the jam). Her house is a cocoon that invites you to travel (better than in the photos). Everything you need is there. And very well located for visiting Annecy (free shuttle in summer) and Lake Bourget. We recommend this property.

We had a great time at Élodie's cottage. It is ideally located in a very quiet environment and at the same time close to small local shops. We were able to do a lot of hiking in the area by driving around a bit. The cottage is very well equipped and we didn't want for anything. The different terraces allow you to enjoy the beautiful setting depending on the day. If we had to suggest a single point to improve for some guests, it would be a slightly larger bed. Being a little large, the 140 bed was a little narrow for me.

Beautiful family home in Aix with beautiful garden and trampoline (ideal for children). Everything went well! We enjoyed meeting in a house inhabited all year round (small treasure everywhere: board games...)

Very pleasant stay and ideal for a couple with children. The space is functional and located in an area full of things to do.

What can we say about our stay? It seems impossible to sufficiently describe in a brief review how comfortable my friends and I felt at home during our stay. We were 9 friends wanting to get away from Lyon for a quiet and inspiring weekend of sharing and creative writing; Martine's house was the perfect place for that. The house is beautiful, with an absolutely amazing view of the mountains. As this is the usual house of Martine and her husband Philippe, this is the warmest and most comfortable Airbnb I've had the pleasure of staying in. From the kitchen to the living rooms and bedrooms, it had everything you needed to cook, converse, and sleep peacefully. I also really enjoyed the periodic visits on the deck of their two cats. Communication with Martine was extremely pleasant and fluid. My friends and I all agree that we hope to be back soon!

We had a great time, we knew the Contamines very well so we had no trouble finding our way around. The apartment was very good, very functional and sufficient for a week's vacation for 5! Small plus for the dishwasher and washing machine which are very much appreciated with children! ☺️

Fantastic gem steps away from Meribel central area. Possible to ski down to lifts just a few steps from the house. Apartment is more spacious than it looks in pictures. We will definitely be back when coming to the area next time!

Pauline’s emails ahead of the booking were most helpful and Fay looked after us in resort wonderfully. The apartment was a good size for a family of four. Supermarket is conveniently across the road and it was a 5-10 minute walk up to the Signal ski lift. We had a very enjoyable ski holiday and the apartment satisfied our needs perfectly.

Gael and Esther are very friendly and responsive hosts. We truly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming back. Quick drive to Le Praz in the morning which is a great starting point to explore the resort. The apartment is well equipped and cozy, with a wonderful fireplace in the living room.

The studio proposed by Adrien is in all respects as described. It is quite suitable for a family with 2 children. Having the sofa in the living room is really no problem as it unfolds in a turn of hand, is very comfortable (160cm wide) and you wake up with a great view of the mountains. The terrace is very pleasant (sun until late afternoon). The apartment is very well arranged and offers plenty of storage. It is very well equipped, nothing is missing. Shops and restaurants nearby, the car stays in the garage. Ski-in/ski-out (a one-minute walk from the building door in April). The parking spot is perfect, very secure and covered. As for the ski area, it is just exceptional for its landscapes and amenities. Finally, Adrien sends a lot of information before your stay and answers questions very quickly. In short: a perfect stay! Well located apartment, with a small track just crossing the street at the bottom of the building that allows you to go to the starting point of all the slopes (shooting, tele-sieges, eggs, ski schools). Spacious and well organized apartment, sunny all day. I took the linen service for the bed and the towels. They were clean! I say it because it happened that hosts put very old linens, with smells of humidity, and sometimes dubious about cleanliness. Shops within walking distance, and ski rental shop downstairs from the building. Lots of benefits that make it easier for the rest of your stay. Thank you Pascale, responsive and far-sighted Practical info: for those arriving by train and taking the bus, get off at the TOURIST OFFICE stop, 8-10 min walk from the apartment. AWESOME!

The apartment was impeccable very functional and nothing missing! The ski locker is easily accessible, the swimming pool very pleasant as well as the sauna ... nickel after the ski runs! Isabelle is very available and the person who welcomed us is also very friendly.

We had a lovely week, the accommodation is perfectly located and makes it much easier to organize and mobility in the area. We particularly appreciated the view, the calm, the quality mattresses and the cleanliness of the space. It was very hot but I didn't care. It's still possible to open the window 🙂

Studio as described. Well appointed. Functional and simple. Ski-in/ski-out arrivals and departures. all amenities 200m walk away and ESF departures for the little ones too. Downtown is 10 min walk. We had a great time for 4 (2 adults / 2 Children). We'll be happy to go back!

Excellent hosting, Pierre is a very kind and considerate host. From check-in where he waits patiently at a given point (found quickly thanks to his directions), to help access the accommodation (including help with luggage) until checkout, remaining available during the stay if needed. Apartment fully matches the description, clean, tidy and warm. Ideally located close to ski slopes (shuttles available) and shops. Sincerely recommendable. Thanks again for everything.

We had a lovely stay in Pierre's lovely apartment. This place is very beautiful, very clean and pleasantly decorated. It is located in a very quiet residence, close to a chairlift and shops. (ski-in/ski-out) The views are beautiful. and the large very sunny terrace is very nice. The duvets and pillows are new. We also appreciated the very good welcome from Philippe, caretaker of the residence. We'll be happy to go back.
