Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Montes de Oca

Francisco is a sweet man and has a very nice and inviting home. We felt so comfortable and warm there. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was big and full of light. The house is very bright and warm. Francisco is there to greet you and very prompt with answering should you have any questions. Wifi was fast and consistent with no issues. Very safe and secure neighborhood and quiet at night. Would stay again should we need to stay in that area.

Found both Alex and Allen super friendly...and speaks English...extremely clean and centrally located. The grocery store is a 10 min walk in a safe neighborhood. The room is very large, the bed very comfortable and the wifi is decent. Highly recommend this place!!!

Absolutely perfect home with a backyard pool and workout area that will rival most resorts!

We were perfectly received and felt completely at home here. We were allowed to use all the stuff in the kitchen and even the washing machine was at our disposal. We are happy to make a warm recommendation

We are already the second time to work… we gather our work team and it is super comfortable because everyone has their bathroom for comfort. It has many spaces that can be used for planting and work times. The green areas and their recreation places are great for times of sharing and uniting the team. They have absolutely everything you could need, the two kitchen areas are super equipped It's really a place just to get there and take a personal thing because everything else is supplied. No complaints about anything is a beautiful place.

Truly an incredible, quiet, peaceful Costa Rican experience. Great for families, especially those with younger children- space to run and play, stocked with toys, and -a true treasure in CR- has a more powerful washer and dryer for “resetting” if you’re on a longer trip and need fresh clean clothes. The road in takes courage and potentially a 4x4 if you’re not used to driving the terrain like a Tico. Hosts are among the top 1% of all AirBnB hosts globally- intuitive, clean, accommodating, extremely well organized. Cooler weather and fewer mosquitoes than in other areas of the country. Best stay we have had in many trips to the area- thank you!

We were staying at Ana’s place many times. They’re as always very welcoming and friendly. Place is clean and organized. Will come again!

Cindy’s condo is the perfect retreat for a family, or for a group. It is incredibly spacious, with more room than the pictures can show. The view of San Jose was gorgeous day and night. The pool was public to the condo, and was heated. The drive Into San Jose was a touch longer than expected, but that was no biggie due to all of the other amenities. Lots of balcony space, on multiple levels have great indoor/outdoor experiences. Definitely would stay again.

Sara was a great host. The unit was exactly what we were looking for. It felt like a place you could settle into nicely. Would recommend Sara and the unit to anyone looking to stay in that area.

My time in Costa Rica was great but what made it the best experience was my Airbnb with Leidy she was absolutely amazing the entire way and very helpful and communicative. I can’t wait to stay at her property again. Definitely worth it. The place was beautiful and clean and it made me forget all about my own home 😂

The place was really nice and comfortable, we found everything we needed and the building has awesome nice areas for pictures. The view it’s great and the location was really convenient to visit any area of San Jose.

Fernan was very responsive and attentive. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The building staff were really great and accommodating. The rooftop gym, lap pool and the general pool are a real bonus. The restaurants, cafe and mini-market were very convenient. A hair salon had just opened the day before I checked out but good to know there is another added convenience on the property. Id stay there again!

It was a very short stay… arrived on a late flight and left early. Everything was clean and all the instructions were clear and helpful. I did manage to get in a round of golf before I left which was a big plus for me.

We had a great stay in San Jose! The place was huge with lots of space! The pool table was a nice touch and was in good condition. When we arrived, Leo gave us a quick tour of the place and showed us how to use everything. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The location was close to the airport and also close to the city center. All the bedrooms had AC, however the main house did not. We left the windows opened which helped, but also attracted a few bugs. Overall, it wasn’t bad at all. We all had a great time and this place was a great place to wrap up our time in Costa Rica 😊

Spectacular hosts, they quickly become your friend! Andrea, his family and his home are a unique experience. The view, training room and all utilities inside the house are worthy of a luxury home, the unparalleled security and privacy of the place allows you to enjoy the fresh air and the view of the entire city of Cartago. Note: They wake up in the early morning and go out to the balcony of the master bedroom! They will thank me

Our stay at this stunning home was nothing short of PERFECT! A huge thank you to Daniela, our incredible host, who went above and beyond to make our trip seamless. She graciously allowed our big crew (all 19 of us—kids included!) to check in early after our drive from Jaco and even helped coordinate airport transportation. Talk about hospitality! The house itself is absolute DREAMS—spacious, beautifully designed, and surrounded by breathtaking views that had us all swooning. We had more than enough room to spread out, cook family feasts in the fully equipped kitchen, and grill dinners under the stars. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. From morning coffees on the patio to late-night laughs in the living areas, every moment here felt magical. We’re already counting down the days until we can return!
