Yurt sul Murgia

The yurt is a typical structure of the nomadic peoples of Mongolia. The architecture makes it easy to assemble and disassemble, given the continuous travel of their animals and depending on the season. San Biagio Suite in the Sassi

Located in the Sasso Barisano, the San Biagio Suite is completely carved out of the tuff rock and offers the unique and magical experience of sleeping in the Sassi of Matera. The partition walls are made of frosted glass, but with a touch you can make them transparent so you can appreciate the environment in its evocative entirety. In the Sasso, you can admire the fossil shells that emerge from the tuff, take a shower inside the cave and touch the walls that emerged from the sea a million years ago.

La struttura, risalente al ‘500, ha ingresso indipendente e si trova nel cuore della Civita, la parte più antica e suggestiva dei Sassi, a due passi dalle principali attrazioni artistiche, culturali e storiche della città. La zona domina dall'alto i Sassi con viste mozzafiato sugli antichi rioni. All’interno, dalle alte volte in tufo e arredamento d’epoca, sono presenti due camere matrimoniali, un’area living, una cucina e un bagno. La zona è molto vivace e piena di locali, bar e ristoranti.

La piccola casa in grotta ha un ingresso indipendente. è una piccola camera ipogea ricavata totalmente all’interno della massa tufacea . Le grotte hanno un loro particolare microclima che viene regolato da impianto di riscaldamento in inverno e deumidificazione quando necessario. Nello spazio esterno, arredato con tavolino e sedie, è possibile incontrare e fare amicizia con la mia gattina e con il mio cane, un dolcissimo Border Collie . Soggiornare in una grotta è un esperienza.
