We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The house is tastefully designed, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. Everything we needed for a cozy and relaxing time was right there. The views from the windows and terraces are absolutely stunning and made our mornings and evenings extra special. Although the weather wasn’t on our side during the trip, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. We’re truly grateful for the warm hospitality and would happily return again. Highly recommended!

A holiday to stay in our memories… Pedro was very helpful answered all the questions we had, we were in 11 people having room for everyone with individual bathroom for each room. The super-equipped kitchen, the barbecue area a delight to stay the table coexisting while the barbecue goes roasting :) Mrs. Carla lives up to all the good comments she has about her, a sympathy of people even being a holiday responded to us with all charisma, gave several tips and left everything very well explained I just have to thank. A place to return for sure!!

I went to meet my brother and his family to spend Christmas together , Maria Helena was vey flexible and friendly, explained that party wasn’t aloud as described but a family meeting would be welcome because Christmas is a special occasion, we had a wonderful family dinner, place is absolutely stunning, Maria Helena and her husband are very friendly and Helpful. Maria Helena showed around and explained how to use the facilities. The house is big and beautiful, kitchen has everything we need , weather was cold because the winter but the place has heating and 2 wood fire and enough wood to burn inside and outside if need . Stunning mountains view. I recommend anyone who goes hire a car to explore around . The Nazaré beach is stunning ( famous for the highest waves in the world) . Villages around ate beautiful snd clean , it stands out for the oranges , small trees with oranges everywhere, locals also put bags of oranges around in fences for free , we enjoyed oranges from her garden .

The experience exceeded expectations, Ana explained the amenities of the house very well and indicated several places to eat and visit. The house was impeccably clean and organized, with a very well-equipped kitchen. The atmosphere of the house is very cozy. In short, Ana was always very helpful and hospitable, she made us feel at ease. I highly recommend it.

9 of us (two families, with a total of 5 kids) stopped here for two night on our way from Lisbon to Seville. It was a serene, quiet, and absolutely wonderful place. The views are beyond spectacular, and the access to the village of Vila Boim and the town of Elvas was easy.

Very clean, pleasant space with a beautiful pool, great barbecue area, garage for 2 cars, very clean, well maintained, equipped with everything you need for day-to-day life. From clothes, kitchen utensils, dishes, etc. I have spent vacations in several homes and have never found one as complete at all levels. Everyone involved was very friendly and kind (Odette & Horacio, sister-in-law, brother and mother). If you want a beautiful space to relax, there's nothing better than this. Note: the images do not do justice to the space. It's even bigger, with a huge saltwater pool. A very good and relaxed surrounding space. To talk about how much I enjoyed this experience, I would have to write a very long text. I can only be grateful for people like this, who care about providing good times like these. It should be noted that in terms of appliances, there is absolutely nothing missing. And I end by thanking you for this beautiful experience.

It was a wonderful place, an amazing house where everything was cleverly designed which we enjoyed. The house was divided in two sections which fitted perfectly for a family of 9 persons. Also a good dining room with an amazing view to the mountains which even more had a good function during rainy periods, The big screen was a scoop and the bath tub was a great with with the kids. We can only recommend the house and would like to come back.

We had a great time here. The house was spotlessly clean, very well equipped, spacious and peaceful. One point to note is that the ensuite bathrooms do not have doors so some people may not be comfortable with that.

From the moment we arrived home we felt welcomed by Dona Ana. It was all as described and even better. The house was super comfortable, prepared for the cold and with everything we were entitled to. Many games, books and full kitchen to spend Christmas. The house was in a quiet region but it had everything around. Exactly what we were looking for. Thanks for all the reception and affection. We already want to book for next year. It was a pleasure to spend Christmas in Proença - a-Velha.

The house was perfect for our bachelor party! The location was ideal, cozy and discreet, which allowed us to make the most of our party without disturbing the neighbors. The house had all the necessary equipment for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen and ample space to have fun. In addition, the swimming pool was a high point of our stay, allowing us to relax and have fun at the same time. What I liked the most was the flexibility and freedom that the house gave us. We could do what we wanted, when we wanted, without any restrictions or problems. Overall, the house was an excellent choice for our bachelor party. I recommend it to everyone looking for a comfortable and fun place to celebrate a special occasion.

Truly true: a paradise on earth. 45 minutes drive from Lisbon on a quiet road, ideal to visit the city. Gigantic large house with enough bedrooms and three beautiful bathrooms. Spaciously equipped kitchen. The house is in a secluded villa neighborhood and is secured as a fort knox, with steel panels that you can close for all windows. Not only do they secure well, but they also provide less warmth inside (lack of air conditioning is actually not a miss, it stays cool enough), and screens all the sound from outside. And the pool, the giant pool: WoW. Bigger than we had at many campsites in the past. In short: not cheap, but if you want to unpack it is highly recommended.

A place worth to stay everytime you need to enjoy some peaceful and relaxed vacations with family or friends! Totallu recommend! Me and my family had a dream stay and will certainly repeat.

Wonderful vacations We are a family of ten and we have spent 14 fantastic days in august 2024 at Joao’s family house at Salvaterra de Magos. The house is very big ( as presented in the pictures), very calm., very confortable (including excellent mattresses ) , very clean and with breathtaking views of fields mountains and birds. It is so well oriented that we did not suffer at any moment of heat . Almost no need to use the air conditioner The kitchen is big , functional and fully equipped with all necessary stuff The pool and gardens are wonderful and very well maintained as in the pictures It is close to all facilities and supermarkets and with very easy access for excursions on the Tajo river and to Lisbon area . The only inconvenient for us were the mosquitoes at the sunset . We would like to thank Joao for letting us sharing his wonderful family house , for his kindness and politeness and allowing us to have these wonderful vacations !!

We had a blast for my 30th birthday. Perfect location, beautiful house with an amazing garden. John was super helpful with the checking and very kind.

The house has, all the amenities, the kitchen is very well equipped. The pool was nice. Recommended families. The house is in a private urbanization, supermarket 5 '.

The house was very clean and had lots of space. Some of the beds were very firm so we did have to trade rooms with one of our kids for a softer mattress. Overall a great house with plenty to explore in the area. Went to the local cheese shop and got great sight seeing recommendations from the worker. The Marble Museum had cool sculptures and info about the local areas history in extracting marble. The pool is not heated and was a little chilly in late September, but the kids still had fun.

Everything went well. Great communication with the responsible people. place with a lot of privacy....very good for a family vacation: with pool, barbecue, games, bath towels...everything we need. Thank you

We had a great time. Kevin is a very responsive host. The house fully matched our expectations and description. Everything was perfect. For ideas for improvement, air conditioning in the house and an outdoor toilet when you get out of the pool would be perfect.

Great place to stay with family. Pool was lovely and facing the sunset. Close to amenities and main national road made travelling around the area very easy. Hosts were very nice and helpful when any issues arose.

It's a great place no stay immersed on the countryside. Everything 5 stars!

On the first day the light went down several times but it was nothing that was not resolved ,the house was clean,the space outside calm and comfortable,has all necessary utensils,last night we decided to extend the space to another night and Anabela was 5 stars,responded quickly and was super friendly! Very nice place and I certainly don't regret it. I highly recommend it.

This great place to stay. We went with a family of 6 adults and had wonderful times with family and friends. The place is a lot of tranquility and peace. Elisete is always very attentive. We recommend to everyone.
