Spend the day kayaking, walking or cycling in the mountains, enjoying the largest spa in Portugal (20 mins), & exploring historic villages and cities, then come home to relax in a hammock in the orchard, soak up views from the bath, or chillout to vintage vinyl. We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.

Surprada is a family-run farm with sweeping Mountain views. Our luxury one bedroom guest house includes a king-sized bed with organic linens, bathroom with rain shower, antique fireplace, spacious patio, and a fully equipped kitchen. Just steps away is a 15x4m saltwater pool with outdoor kitchen and bathroom. Quinta dos Avós Lourenço is ideal for those looking for rest, nature and privacy. The house is rented entirely and has 4 bedrooms, a bathroom, living room, fully equipped kitchen and laundry area. The outdoor space is fenced, furnished and exclusive for guests. Set within a 3-hectare farm, you can enjoy contact with animals, orchards and green areas in a peaceful and authentic rural setting. Traditional breakfast available as an optional extra (€9per person/day), with fresh regional bread.

The Annex at Quinta Solar

An ideal location for exploring the area, the independent and private bedroom is set in a rural garden of olive trees, mandarins, almonds, grapes, and figs, surrounded by nature with mountain views of Serra da Gardunha and Serra da Estrela, the highest mountain range in Portugal. A queen-size bed, quality linen + bathroom & kitchenette. Hot shower, mini-fridge, mini stove ensure you can make the most of your stay.
