“Val and Steve are amazing! Trying to navigate travel and new adventures during COVID has been especially difficult, but not with this amazing place. Communication before arrival was always quick and helpful. When we arrived, everything was set up and ready for our beautiful day on the lake. We enjoyed a full day with our three kids, and they would have stayed all night if we let them. Bathroom and entrance to the house were sanitized and easy to get to. The best part of the location are your hosts, Val and Steve. They are so sweet, and genuinely seem to love watching families come and enjoy their lakefront. We have already been two days this summer, and can’t wait to be back.”
This 600 Sq ft modern and cozy bungalow with semi-private dock access is perfect for families or couples looking to get away and relax on beautiful Greenwood Lake, right in the heart of the Hudson Valley. The house is just steps away from the lake. (About a 45 second walk.) The decor is elegant yet comfortable and casual with plenty of spaces indoor and outdoor to make yourself right at home.
“My family and I had a nice relaxing time at Amanda’s house. I was initially concerned about the house being a bit small but we really didn’t feel it when we arrived. Amanda made great use of the space. The toilet area in the bathroom could be a bit roomier but overall the house is very well designed and very comfortable. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touches and the use of the kayaks. FYI one has to walk down a shared driveway, past 3 houses and down some stairs (about 7) to get to the dock. It can be a little cumbersome to get the kayaks into the water and then get yourself into the kayak from the elevated dock especially if there’s turbulence in the water but we did manage to do it without falling in the water. Having 2 people helps! We enjoyed using the fire pit by the water to make s’mores and roast hot dogs and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets with a nice drink in hand. Overall it was a nice stay.”

“We had a lovely time at Lou’s cabin. It is a very charming space: small but with so many great touches it feels much bigger. It’s in a beautiful, convenient location. My only regret is we didn’t have time to go for a bike ride!!”
