Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Monroe County

Amazing, beautiful place. Absolutely loved the space provided ESPECIALLY the game room! Will be coming back for sure!

We came for my son’s IU graduation and we had a great time. This is the BUSIEST weekend in Bloomington so all reservations are done at least 12 months in advance and every place is overpriced including rentals, hotels, restaurants, etc and you are happy if you can get a vacancy. We booked several months in advance. It was very easy to communicate with Joseph, he is very friendly and responsive. My daughter arrived a bit earlier and checked in the house. She texted me that there was dog hair on the floor and furniture. Since the place is pet friendly, i expected that this might be an issue. Joseph was very resourceful and responsive, he asked someone to come by and clean the floors the same evening. While it was not perfect, I appreciated Joseph’s willingness to fix the issue and resolve it right away.

This is a wonderful house in a great location. It is very close to campus, and allowed us to walk everywhere easily. Great coffee shops in the immediate area. We loved the little touches throughout the house such as the coffee and teabags in the kitchen, and first aid kit and other in the bathrooms. We will definitely stay here again.

I’ve done several Air BnB’s but I’ve never been taken care of so well by a host. We were celebrating our daughter’s graduation and we were greeted by a banner, and all sorts of party favors to make it special. Amazing house and a close walk to everything.

The home was very nicely decorated and very clean. Libby left us snacks and drinks which was very much appreciated after our long drive. We didn’t get to spend much free time at the house because we were visiting friends but next time we will have to try out the hot tub! The home was perfect for our weekend, clean and comfortable and the 2nd bathroom was really nice to have. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit Lake Lemon.

We had the pleasure of staying here for our wedding weekend and it was gorgeous! Our photographer even said her job was 10x easier with all the natural light and beauty. Bryant was super responsive and left all sorts of cozy amenities, making it an extra special weekend. Hope to come back soon!

Nick's house was perfect for our family of 6 celebrating my daughter's graduation from IU. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. The yard and front porch and back patio were so peaceful and relaxing for family time. Nick was a responsive host and very flexible with checkout. I would definitely recommend his beautiful home to friends and family.

We really enjoyed our week at Dan's place. He is very communicative and accommodating. House is in a very quiet and serene location, and is very well equipped. Beautiful new deck and nice fire pit. Fishing was good, even with rainy conditions and high lake levels. The last portion of access road is gravel, but very we'll cared for. There was one low spot in road that flooded because Monroe Lake was at unusually high levels (11-12 ft above normal summer pool), due to extraordinarily wet spring. But our SUVs navigated it just fine. We will definitely look forward to returning.

Fantastic stay in Nashville. Perfect setting for us in the heart of Nashville. Most of our desired shop and diner visits were walking distance. Fantastic and friendly restaurant down below too. Amazingly we did not see all that we wanted in Nashville. We really enjoyed our visit and will do it again!

Everything was amazing! Kara did a great job of having everything super well stocked, all the amenities you could think of. We experienced a city wide power outage the weekend we were there and she did everything in her power to help us navigate that. Brought us a generator to save our food and charge devices. She even had flashlights and lanterns stocked in the house. One of the best AirBnb’s I’ve stayed in and will definitely be back. Kara was extremely responsive and so helpful!

The place was beautiful and very quiet we only spent one night there but it was well worth the trip only a few minutes from downtown Brown County..

I cannot say how thankful I was to find this place while looking for the perfect eclipse viewing spot. The host was very helpful as I was trying to time the weather and ability to move around, if needed. Her place was amazing - remote, beautiful and spacious, with stylish decor and so clean! As I was driving in, later than I had planned, she gave me a video of how to get inside which worked perfectly. I got inside and stopped and realized the space was exactly as pictured. Clean and quiet, peaceful, this was going to be THE spot for viewing the event of a lifetime. The host family was generous with suggestions on where to go in town, how to interact with the animals, snacks and beverages (which saved me on my late arrival) and access to wander the property and time to relax. They allowed me to view the eclispe is a private back pasture which was a stunning backdrop for the eclipse Everything was absolutely perfect and I would love to visit again! Thank you for an amazing experience. ♥

Property was accurate to description and photos online. Couch should not be considered as sleeping option for adults.

Her studio was great. Well equipped and clean with a short drive into town. She was very accommodating and responsive and would absolutely recommend her beautiful property.

My friends and I were in town for a wedding at The Wilds. Very convenient for getting to the wedding venue and to and from downtown Bloomington. If I’m ever back in Bloomington with a large group I would definitely book Nancy’s place again.

We had the most incredible weekend at Garrett & Ewa’s place! They communicated so well with us before hand when planning my sister’s wedding celebration! Everyone loved the space. It was all as pictured and even better than expected!

Another wonderful stay at the Goat Conspiracy. Beautiful, spacious cabin and private, peaceful surroundings. Private location where you wake up to the sounds of nature, with goats providing a special bonus. Cabin is spacious and clean - can't wait to stay again.

My husband and stayed for a few days - the pictures and descriptions are accurate. The house is about 25 minutes to the town of Nashville, but it is a beautiful drive. It is very well maintained and is one of the cleanest vacation properties we have stayed at. We loved the quiet, remote area. The back deck has a pleasant view of the lake, which appears to be a nature preserve. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to our nature-loving friends.

Spent a IU football weekend here while visiting our daughter on campus. Quaint cabin in the woods that met all our needs. Chris’s instructions were very thorough. Only about 14 minutes from campus too. Great hiking in Hoosier national forest that was minutes away. Would be a wonderful place to stay also if you were doing a lake weekend over the summer.

The property was absolutely beautiful! Came for a wedding that was close by and enjoyed a wonderful night around one of the two fire pits. Wish we had more time in the morning to explore more of the property. Our dog really enjoyed the expansive forest. Alexandra was amazing and super communicative with anything we could have needed. Can’t wait to come back!

Great place to get away within 20ish minutes from Nashville. Plenty to do in the house if you want to get away with the pool table, shuffle board, movie theater, arcade system, hot tub, and fire pit if you don't want to go into town.

Came here with family and my parents for my child's graduation. It was a beautiful place in the perfect location!

A really cozy cabin! My mom and I loved the space and felt very comfortable during our stay. I must mention that there are no anti slip grips on the tub, so be careful in the shower! I also wish there was a little less grit in the bottom of the hot tub, but I understand that can’t always be helped and all other aspects were clean. Overall: wow. We got to spend time in the hot tub, listened for birds on the porch, and enjoyed our short drive to Nashville for shopping and good eats! (Hard Truth Distilling and Ferguson House were faves.) The place was clean and well organized.
