Nyree and Jeff were the perfect hosts and their home in Proissans is just idyllic. We had 6 wonderful days there and wished we’d booked longer. The setting is so beautiful, the gite is lovely, cosy and well appointed, we loved the animals and the pool, and Nyree and Jeff were so kind and welcoming. There is lots to do in the surrounding areas and Nyree and Jeff made some great recommendations including canoeing along the dordogne and a visit to Chateau des Milandes. We would 100% recommend a stay and hope to return again next year.

We were greeted by Lucille , who spoke perfect English and Monsieur . We were shown all about the house, how to operate the jacuzzi and given excellent recommendations for the area. The booklet was invaluable particularly for village market days. The house is so attractively deco and so comfortable with everything you need to make your stay troubles free and relaxing. As we are from Australia we loved cooking outside on the BBQ. Being supplied with wraps for the jacuzzi was much appreciated as was the jacuzzi after climbing lots of steps visiting the castles. Our hosts all came to farewell us which was a lovely friendly touch. We thank you all for your lovely home and generous spirit of welcome. This is an excellent Perigord base and we strongly recommend it.

We have just had a jolly spiffing holiday at Petit Grange! Monpazier is of course as beautiful as ever and the beer at Biere De Las Bastide still as quaffable, and all just 5 mins walk away! Petite Grange was perfect for our stay, having ample room to accommodate four adults. Everything you need has been thoughtfully included and all is clean and fresh as you'd expect from top notch hosts. Although we didn't try the pool or hottub (it being out of season) we found the garden and veranda offered both sunshine and shade, along with stunning views and a much-used BBQ, indeed if it wasn't such a beautiful area with much to see we could happily just hang out at Petite Grange - and will definitely return! i think I've never rented such a clean place and what a pleasure! The house matches the description and even better than the photos. The kitchen equipment is top notch. We felt right at home and it's not easy! Quiet house but shops are 5 minutes away by car. We found the hot tub nice to spend the new year. Thanks to Pauline for his availability and hospitality. Relaxing and refreshing family stay. Do it again in summer for this time to take advantage of the swimming pool.

Excellent stay in this amazing estate with beautiful views, soothing calm and many possible activities. Our two dogs were welcomed with pleasure and were the happiest with all this land away from the roads. The hosts were very welcoming and very nice. The instructions were clear. We recommend this place!!

We had a great week at Olivier's cottage - the place is beautiful, peaceful and very well-equipped. It matches the photos and description perfectly. Olivier was very responsive and his information was very clear and helpful. I teleworked and the wifi connection is impeccable. Lots of places to visit nearby such as Puy l'Evêque, Cahors, Pech Merle Cave, Rocamadour, the Gouffre de Padirac and many more! Walks in the vineyards are very pleasant as is the Jacuzzi at the end of the day with a view of the forest :) We can only recommend this cottage and thank Olivier and Fabienne for the perfect provision of their accommodation. We had a very nice stay with Sofie and Irm. After a long drive, we arrived very late in the evening, in the dark. Nevertheless, we were received with great kindness by Sofie and we immediately saw: this is a beautiful place. The gite is equipped with all comforts, is super clean and very nicely decorated. The grounds are very large, beautiful and definitely worth exploring. Monpazier is within walking distance with many good restaurants. Sofie and Irm are very sweet hosts. They are always up for a chat, give valuable tips, and gave us fresh eggs every few days. You can really see that they enjoy hosting guests and making them feel comfortable. A really lovely place surrounded by vineyards and with easy access to local towns. Bordeaux is a 90 min drive through some charming villages. I brought my dog and she loved the fenced garden. She loved Jonathan too! In fact, both Jonathan and Lesley are the most welcoming, considerate, generous and helpful of hosts. I stayed for a few weeks and would return in a heartbeat.

Suzon was the most amazing friendly host. She welcomed us into her home and made our stay very enjoyable. The gite was perfect for us, equipped kitchen, comfortable and outdoor cooking facilities. Lovely pool area. Nice and quiet. Beautiful walks. We were invited to a wine tasting evening and Suzon was a fantastic host and cooked the most beautiful ‘French tapas’! Great stay, thank you.

Can’t rate this place highly enough! It is the most wonderful place; blissful and beautiful views all so calm and perfect setting. The house is immaculate very clean with lovely interiors, comfortable beds and lovely bedding. If you are looking for a fantastic place that you don’t want to leave this could be it; just perfect. Jean-Xavier is lovely and extremely helpful.

We had a great weekend. A very comfortable house, quiet, with lots of space, and a really nice host. I recommend it.

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

Fiona warmly welcomed us. She was available and flexible on arrival and departure. The garden setting is sublime. A peaceful place to relax. We'll be back next year.

As good as it gets! We’ve had a lovely stay and felt at home in the gite which has everything we needed. But more importantly the location is unique with amazing views and horses grazing nearby. Laurence and Alain took the time to show us around the estate, and we’ve had a few lovely surprises. Thanks for all the tips and for the warm welcome.

We had a wonderful week at Coucou Cottage. The cottage is very well equipped and is beautifully styled and furnished throughout. Thédirac is a peaceful village, surrounded by gorgeous countryside. We enjoyed our morning trip to the boulangerie and there was so much to do in the area, we need to come back so we can do more! Rachel is a wonderful host, who made us feel extremely welcome and at home, we throughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Easy to find quiet location, in area with some of the most beautiful villages in France with Markets on every day in the surrounding area as well as superb Michelin restaurants using incredible local produce . Comfortable open plan property, modern facilities in traditional cottage, easy to operate and cosy wood pellet heater. Property less suited if very tall ( I’m 6’4”) due to beautiful but low beams. Parking is right next to property. Host very responsive on any request.

we stayed at the Gite for 15 days. Inga & Marco were very welcoming & attentive throughout our stay. The accommodation was spacious & met all our needs for our stay. We had access to a lovely pool on one side. At front we had a patio which was lovely for our lunch & dinner. it is very private & secluded. The gite is in a great location with beautiful villages nearby. Inga & Marco were fabulous hosts, so helpful. We would recommend this gite

We highly recommend Les Voyelles Gites. We had a lovely stay. A beautiful luxury gite with everything you need. Everything has been thought of. Very complete. And a wonderful swimming pool with a beautiful garden. The owners Linda and Adrian are very friendly and welcoming. In short, we enjoyed it!
