Beachfront holiday rental in Mombasa County

We had a great stay at Miriam's place! The location was very convenient (Ubers always just minutes away and lots of restaurants available for food delivery through Glovo), and wonderful communication from both Miriam and Georgina. The place was clean and we had access to a cleaner each day to do some small cleaning and bedding changes. We only had two minor issues: 1. The listing states that there is private beach access, which is not really accurate. There is a back gate that leads to the water, but no beach, just a rocky area. This was a main reason for booking the place, so this was disappointing. 2. We were told by Georgina after we were already there that the pool is not suitable for swimming. This should also be updated in the listing. Would still recommend the place, and we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful two bedroom in a resort right on the beach with several restaurants nearby, and better value than booking directly through the hotel.

this is the second time I have stayed here. this place seriously is the best place I've ever stayed at. if you looking for 5 star hotel. you won't get that here. but. the service. private salt water pool the location seriously right in the beach you can't beat. Hamisi is the absolute best. if you need anything. he is just a call away and will take care of you. this is absolutely the best place I have stayed around the world. the hospitality and location and view are to die for. again thank you to to everyone for always making sure I am taken care of. especially asninwas looking for a house to buy.

This place will definitely exceed your expectations! It’s beautiful and spacious with a breathtaking view! Elizabeth is the best host have seen so far. She took us around to see several apartments so that we could choose whatever we liked; and left when we were all comfortable and settled. She always checked on us to make sure everything was ok. We are definitely coming back!

We enjoyed our stay, Enos the cook is very kind, clean and cooks delicious food. This was our second time staying here, the kids loved the pool, location is very convenient.

Wonderful host I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for quiet beautiful location next to the beach.

I love the location and the apartment was nice. It’s located at the very end of Bamburi beach which makes it very peaceful. There is a decent restaurant just downstairs by the beach. Just be aware that you are reliant on taxis or your own transportation when staying here because it’s located at the end of a long dirt road which is not suitable to walk after dark. All in all it’s a great place and I would love to come back!

would definately book again. only downside of cowrie shells is that you always gotta take a tuktuk boda or cab to reach a supermarket, bar or restaurant.

Great place to stay in the Shanzu area. Staff is helpful and easy going.

Evan was a great host and his condo is amazing. He upgraded us to a larger unit that was available at no extra cost. We enjoyed waking up to the beautiful Indian Ocean view. I would book again without hesitation.

The place was very nice, there was no issues with the wifi Electricity kept going on and off but that is not controllable by the host

Jumeirah Beachfront Apartments are outstanding. Having only opened in November 2017 they are brand new, finished to a very high quality (indeed they should offer photos of their bedrooms and bathrooms which are beautiful), and offer amazing services half way between a private place and a boutique hotel. Mohamed is a great host offering every service you need, from drivers to dinner, but there are also plenty of local options too for transport and food. The beds are very comfortable, air conditioning is very effective, the pool is gorgeous, and the whole place is tucked away down a small lane and is very quiet and peaceful with its own access direct on to the beach. We will definitely stay here again when in Mombasa.
