Welcome to Castanheiro. Our property is a recently refurbished house built around a century old chestnut tree. A spacious terrace offers a panoramic view of the Santa Cruz Bay. It is conveniently located in Lagoa and within a 3 min walking distance to the ocean . A stroll to natural swimming pools will take you 10 min. We live in Vila Franca do Campo for more than 30 years and we think this is the perfect town in the island to spend some relaxing holidays. Casa das Taipas is a 2-bedroom house in the heart of Vila Franca, right in front of the sea with an outsanding view to the Atlantlic Ocean and Ilhéu, a volcanic islet known among the villagers as the Princess Ring. An ideal beach house, ideal to relax and enjoy peaceful holiday. The house is well equipped people, with comfort and good commodities. It has a nice garden, with an amazing view over the ocean, a picnic area and viewpoint in the outside area and a barbecue all private. There is also an outside shower (but please do not use soap or shampoo). All you see in the pictures belongs to the house and it's only for the guests. You will for sure love this place!
