Thanks for staying with us for 2 nights. I thought the beach spread out in front of the inn and I came to Hawaii. The morning and evening meals provided by the host were local meat and vegetables, all homemade, and it was very delicious.The morning coffee was also very fragrant and delicious. The host's family was very kind, the conversation was interesting, and the time passed quickly.The horses nearby were very beautiful and interesting.I also went to Kuroda's vassal, but I couldn't get to the island because of the high tide.Praying for the harmony from afar.Hyuga people are kind. I would like to visit again. Thank you for this stay.

I stayed on the surf trip.Anyway, it was a pleasant stay to be kind.Wake up in the morning and be happy to have breakfast and coffee at the cafe below as soon as you wake up.The dinner was also very delicious and I was surprised.I'd love to stay again for a long time.

Farmer's B&B of isolated house, for one group only

We had a wonderful time at Katsushi and Tatako's farmstay and cannot speak too highly of our experience. The house is separate from the owners' home, so is very private, and surrounded by fields and scattered houses. Everything was spotless and we lacked for nothing, given that we were not self-catering. But it was our hosts' friendliness, their recommendations for local attractions, and above all, the food we were served, that were extra special. Breakfast is included, and featured plenty of home-grown veges, and other local produce. Since we didn't want to venture out at night, we also requested dinner on both nights of our stay (for a modest additional cost), and those meals were also truly wonderful. Japanese home cooking at its best. We were also invited to attend a Kagura dance at a local shrine, and were taken one evening to a local community hall to learn about preparations for another festival. All in all a wonderful and memorable experience.

We had a lovely stay with Hiromi and Stan. Extremely welcoming and friendly. Beautiful, authentic japanese homestay. We even had a traditional tea ceremony and learned lots about Japanese culture. On top of the already great experience, a traditional Japanese breakfast was also offered which we enjoyed a lot. Would recommend to anyone visiting Kumamoto.

Stefano’s property in Takamori exceeded all expectations. The place was spotless, and honestly, the photos don’t do it justice. The home perfectly blends modern comforts with traditional charm, and the welcoming mix of Italian bread and wood scents made it feel like home. Stefano’s thoughtful touch of providing fresh bread every day for breakfast was a lovely bonus. This place is truly a hidden gem!

I had a great stay here while road tripping across Japan! I was able to book it late and the host was very responsive! I especially appreciated the hospitality cabin that guests had access too with complementary supplies. The host also was quick to respond and refill the mosquito repellent in my room when it ran out! Thanks for a great stay!

Hiromi and Stan are great hosts, warm and welcoming with a lovely home. The free onsen ticket is a bonus, and the breakfast was wonderful. You get the impression that they enjoy hosting (and that they're experienced/well set up).

From before I checked in, the host has been really friendly and responsive to my texts and told me how to locate the place On the day of, she was so kind as to pick me up and drive me to the listed house. The front yard of the house was really beautiful with a big pine tree, and my room looked like the photos. I also really liked the aesthetic bathroom design and the different traditional Japanese elements throughout the house. The only con I would say is the location, as it was a bit far from the JR station, but that is really it. Overall, I enjoyed my stay in this shared house thanks to the great host.

I stayed with my kids and it was great! I used the BBQ service comfortably, so it was very comfortable to make fire and clean up afterwards. I was served rice balls at the service, but the salt was just right and very delicious, and I was happy that they made small onigiri for children! The space is also beautiful and we'd love to stay again.

The couple was kind and friendly, and we had a BBQ in nature and enjoyed it.We also had a cheap service to set up and tidy up the BBQ. For breakfast, toast and soup were free, and there was a lot of volume.I had a lot of it. The scrambled eggs made by my wife were delicious and impressive.We hope to stay with the whole family next time.
