The property has its own private dock accessible for personal motor boat use and is equipped with a Canoe, 2 Kayaks, and Pedal Boat for guest use! 5 mins to Downtown Saranac Lake and 20 mins to Lake Placid. A short drive to famed Lake Placid, stroll through Lake Placid for an array of activities & events, or get outside & hike, fish, canoe, kayak, cross country ski, skate, snowshoe, downhill ski at Whiteface, mountain bike, etc. Guests have direct access to the river, Lake Eaton, 10 miles of hiking/ski trails, playground, & volleyball, basketball, & tennis/pickleball courts.

The Brookside Cabin

Our Cabin is nestled in the woods of the Adirondack Mountains. The Cabin is behind our family home. We are on a country road close to two towns. Our area offers many amenities such as fishing, hiking, boating, golf, hunting , wine tasting, leaf peeping. The cabin is heated by a wood stove and is the only heat source. “Wood Stove will injure a small child. Fast moving water in brook. Children 7 and up is ok with pre approval. The outside shower is heated, hot water available mid April -Nov.

This cabin is camp to us and now a place for you to experience as well. 2 minutes by car or boat to the village of Saranac Lake. A newly remodeled waterfront camp that is private and has a sandy beach area for swimming. Located up river from Lake Flower and before you get into Oseetah. 22 miles of boating and water leisure on the Saranac Lakes and Kiwassa. 2 bedrooms and a sleeping porch sleeps 5 or 6. The camp is small but cozy. A fire pit at waters edge is a perfect end to the night.
