We had a truly beautiful experience at Meihodo, a cultural gem tucked away in the serene landscape of Aso. The Airbnb was the perfect blend of traditional Japanese design and modern comfort — clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully curated for a relaxing stay. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality from our host, Daishi. He went above and beyond to make our visit smooth and memorable — personally driving us to local restaurants and arranging taxis to Takachiho Gorge and Mount Aso when we ran into issues with our car rental. His kindness and attentiveness made us feel genuinely cared for. A few tips: having a rental car is highly recommended in this area for flexibility. Also, make dinner reservations in advance, as many local restaurants close early. And if you’d like to try the resort’s breakfast, be sure to let them know in advance — we missed out but were kindly dropped off at nearby restaurants instead. Highly recommend Meihodo for a serene and culturally rich getaway.

6人、家族で利用。 コスパがとても良くって大満足！！ 中高生の子供たちがテンション上がりまくり。 床暖房も入った瞬間から暖かく快適でした。 場所もわかりやすく、チェックイン、チェックアウトも簡単。 調理器具なども一通り揃ってて問題なし。 とても有意義な時間が過ごせました。 ありがとうございました！

Good size Japanese house a few blocks from Lake Kinrin. Has three bedrooms with western style beds and a living room with futons. Nice Japanese style house with some hard-to-find things like a dishwasher, clothes dryer, and two bathrooms. Lawson's convenience store a block away. Many tour buses are in this area bringing people to see the mist coming off the lake. It is pretty and interesting. You can see mountains.

This is a very decent house, sufficient enough for my family (6 members aged between 4 to 70). The place is very clean and tidy. The host is friendly and kind. The instructions provided were clear and easy to follow. We think the location of the house is very convenient, probably because we drive. It takes reasonable time to travel to Kumamoto city or to Aso district, just in the middle of both. A large shopping mall is near, about 10 mins drive, very convenient! The house has everything you need. Towels, shampoo, body soap and even skin care products are present in the house. This is a real bonus for those who prefer light luggage and not to carry too many things when travelling. Cooking utensils are well equipped and even seasonings. We make delicious meals during our stay. I highly recommend this premise to visitors who are going to travel to Kumamoto in a group of 4-7.

一泊で家族と滞在しました。 着いた瞬間から建物もですが、お庭も広く景観も素晴らしく非日常感を存分に味わえました。 お部屋は広く、とても綺麗で、備品等も揃っており、ゆっくりとした時間が過ごせました。 お風呂は泉質も良く、体の芯までポカポカになり、朝晩2回入らせてもらいました。 今度は友人家族とまた泊まりにきたいです。 素敵なお部屋を用意してくださり、ありがとうございました！

완벽합니다. 웰컴 드링크와 푸드도 맛있었어요. 외관은 일본 그 자체인데 내부는 어떤 호텔과 리조트도 부럽지 않을만큼 색달라서 좋았습니다. 아사쿠라 아키즈키는 원래 여행계획에 없었는데 이 숙소 때문에 방문하게 된 거였습니다. 후회 없을 만큼 숙소가 좋았어요. 욕실도 각 방마다 분리되어 있고 사용하기에도 편리했습니다. 숙소 나와서 조금만 위로 올라가면 벚꽃로드가 있는데 거기까지 가는 길도 너무 좋았어요. 낮에 많이 돌아다니면 좋을 것 같아요. 숙소가 반전매력을 잘 갖고 있네요. 아사쿠라 아키즈키는 아마기역에서 버스를 이용해 올 수 있습니다. 잘 모르겠다면 아마기역 직원분께 아키즈키 박물관 가는 버스를 물어보면 답을 얻을 수 있습니다. 구글맵에는 이 경로가 나오지 않아서 여기에 공유해 봅니다. 다음에 후쿠오카를 방문하게 된다면 반드시 다시 들리고 싶은 숙소입니다. 최고였어요.

Little bit hard to find the way in at night . But the staff is very helpful ,and the house is perfect.

特别棒的入住体验，工作人员热情地带领我们参观了鸣凤堂，并且详细解说了每一个建筑和庭院。 入住的独栋别墅宽敞别致，还有室内外的露天风吕，特别适合大家庭或者三五好友一起度假 如果去阿苏地区的不二选择，比黑川温泉的性价比高很多！

愛犬と泊まれる宿では、今まで泊まった場所の中で一番印象に残りました。もう少しチェックイン、チェックアウトの時間が長いと少しでもゆっくりと出来るのになと感じました。 お世話になりました。

行きは道のりが厳しく、大きめの車は注意が必要です⚠️ しかし、ロケーションもよく、とても家族5人で楽しめました！！

We had a wonderful 3-night stay here with our 8-month-old. Everything in the house was new and in great condition, and it was very well stocked with everything we needed. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we were well settled from the start. The views were absolutely stunning, and the space was perfect for switching off—whether we were relaxing in the sauna, grilling on the BBQ, going for a swim, watching a movie on the projector or reading a book by the window. They had kindly provided a high chair, and we could help ourselves to drinks, which was a lovely touch. It’s a peaceful and beautifully designed getaway—we’d love to return!

新しく出来た住宅街の1番奥の場所にある施設でしたが、とても周りも静かでくつろげました！ お部屋も広く、お子様用のおもちゃが用意されてるのは流石ですね！ サウナもとても気持ち良かったです！

家族と親戚総勢14名（大人7名、子供7名）と愛犬2匹で、1泊滞在しました。親戚のお祝いの場として利用しましたが、期待以上の快適さと充実した設備に大満足でした。 まず、1400㎡の広大な敷地に建つ2階建て6SLDKのヴィラは、写真で見る以上に広々としており、大人数でも余裕を持って過ごせる設計です。リビングやダイニングは開放感があり、家族全員で食事や会話を楽しむことができました。 特筆すべきは、福岡空港から車で10分という立地ながら、福岡市内を一望できる絶景のパノラマビュー。飛行機の離発着を間近に見ることができ、航空機好きの私にとっては感激の体験でした。 また、バレルサウナや小型プール、ロングデッキ、専用BBQ施設など、リゾート気分を味わえる設備が充実しています。今回は時間の都合でこれらの施設を利用できませんでしたが、次回はぜひ家族みんなで楽しみたいと思っています。 さらに、ペット同伴可能な点も大きな魅力。愛犬たちも広い庭で自由に遊び回り、ストレスなく過ごせたようです。 全体的に、施設の清潔さやホストの対応も素晴らしく、安心して滞在することができました。大人数での宿泊や特別なイベントに最適なヴィラだと思います。次回もぜひ利用したいと思います。

まさに“豪華でリッチ”という言葉がぴったりの空間でした。エントランスに足を踏み入れた瞬間から高級感が漂い、まるで映画のワンシーンの中にいるような気分に。スタッフの方々も丁寧かつフレンドリーで、チェックインからスムーズに対応していただけました。 お部屋は広々としており、インテリアは洗練されたデザイン。家具や照明、アメニティに至るまでこだわりが感じられ、非日常のラグジュアリーな雰囲気を満喫できました。大きな窓からは絶景が広がり、朝は美しい日の出、夜は満天の星空を楽しむことができました。 キッチンやBBQグリルも完備されていたため、地元の食材を使って料理を楽しんだり、ゆったりとした時間を過ごすことができたのも嬉しいポイントです。設備面も文句なしで、Wi-Fi、洗濯機、バスタブなど充実していました。 今回シーズン外でしたが、無理を言ってプールを使用させて頂きました。快くご対応頂きありがとうございました。 子供達も喜んでおりました。 日常の喧騒を離れ、贅沢で静かな時間を過ごすことができ、本当に大満足です。また特別な機会にはぜひ再訪したいと思える、素晴らしい滞在でした。
