Foley's Cottage is an old (18th century), restored , traditional, stone built farmhouse on a working family farm. The cottage has been restored sympathetically using original and locally sourced recycled materials. The roof timbers for example were sawn from trees grown on the farm. Also the kitchen units were handmade by a local craftsman, from recycled pitch pine. There are old beams and traditional real pine boarded floors. The log burning stove in the open plan sitting room is great for those cooler evenings. There are sea views from the sitting room, but the best view is had from the terrace of the main bedroom. Downstairs has a double bedroom with wc and wet room shower, upstairs are 2 further double bedrooms and large family bathroom with walk-in power.
