(Room No.1) During the summer beach season (July and August), the beach house and the BBQ restaurant next door will be open, so it will be lively until around 9 pm. Because the railroad is near, you will hear the sound of the train. Parking is not available on-site, so please use the pay parking lots nearby. The second floor is the main accommodation room, and the first floor is a large free space (with a sofa bed) that can be used freely. Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts.
